Each set also includes bento held bowls and wings to wear.
Held at an amusement park called Frontier City, on the northeast edge of Oklahoma City, the pow wow featured a variety of dances and dancers. I was struck by the intensity of this woman as she waited for her time to dance. The image is from an old Kodachrome slide that has faded over the years.

The Laugavegur is a famous trekking route in South-West Iceland from the hot springs area of Landmannalaugar to the glacial valley of Þórsmörk . It is noted for the wide variety of landscapes on its 55 km (34 mi) path. The route is typically completed over 2–4 days with potential stops at the mountain huts at Hrafntinnusker, Álftavatn, Hvanngil and Emstrur. An ultramarathon is held on the route each July. It is possible to combine the trek with the Fimmvörðuháls route which goes over the pass from Þórsmörk to Skógar for an additional one or two days or an additional 25 km (16 mi). Landmannalaugar, Þórsmörk, and Skógar are all reachable by bus during the summer. A bus from Hella connects with Álftavatn once a day during the summer.
Hand held capture with the long lens to get this last spot of sunset light there against the far off trees ... the rest of the sky had faded off, so the long lens was needed :)
Hand held and fully zoomed. With the naked eye, I could not make out what they are. We came at the in-between season: Flowering trees beginning to fade, Crocus and Daffodils gone, Tulips just beginning, only the earliest species Iris showing, Roses still a long way off.
Diga algo que você sabe
que eles podem te atacar
Porque estou cansado de ser
tratado como eu era antes
Como é estúpido suportar
o que tenho resistido
Como a Guerra,
é na verdade,
só um tipo diferente de guerra
Como não provém ser rico
e abandonar os pobres
Como eles entendem você,
em seus aviões a jato
Quando você não pode
colocar gasolina em seu tanque,
esses filhos da puta
Estão rindo em seu caminho
de ida ao banco,
e desembolsando cheques
Perguntando se você
tem a paixão e tem algum respeito
Por um líder tão nervoso
em um caminho óbvio
Gaguejando e resmungando pelas
novidades noturnas a serem repetidas
E o resto do mundo
assistindo no fim do dia
Na sala de estar, rindo tipo,
"O que ele disse?"
Na minha sala de estar,
assistindo a isso,
eu não estou rindo
Porque quando se está tenso,
eu sei o que pode acontecer
O mundo é frio,
o valente homem toma uma ação
Tem que reagir ou exploder em pedaços
Em 10 anos passados,
é algo a se ver
Outro iludido da minha idade
drogado sob um Jeep
Tirado e preso e encontrado
a mesquita ontem
Há bombas nos ônibus,
bicicletas, estradas
Dentro de seu supermercado,
seus shoppings, e suas roupas
Meu pai, ele teve muito medo, eu sei
Mas bastante orgulho interno
pra não deixar mostrar
Meu irmão tinha um livro
onde ele segurava com orgulho
Uma pequena capa vermelha
com uma espinha quebrada nas costas
Ele escreveu uma citação dentro,
"Quando o rico aposta na guerra,
é o pobre quem morre "
The Pond Held Reflections of the Nearby Woods
No wind was present to disturb the still waters
I didn't need to look above to see the clouds moving
across the blue skies
For colors cast across the waters mixed to tell a story
A harmony in the wildness of nature all around.
Another work of short poetry or prose to complement the image captured one morning in Cuyahoga Valley National Park while walking around the Indigo Lake area.
This location was another of those spots I'd come across on Flickr and 500px where I'd seen other photographers capture images in this national park. While somewhat overcast, I was able to capture an image myself of those still waters on Indigo Lake. I later worked with some control points and color control points in Capture NX2 to bring out the contrast, saturation and brightness I wanted. I added a Polarization and Sunshine CEP filter to give that little bit extra for the final image.
Hand held shot of the rare full moon on Christmas night.
The full moon is the last of the year, and is the first to occur on Christmas Day since 1977 - and there won't be another on Christmas day until 2034,
At the end of the day, almost every image I create has great meaning to me. But, I’m not in this just for myself. I desire to speak for those who feel they don’t have a voice, to empower those who choose not to speak yet, and to relate to people no matter how distant or different. I am an introvert, ridden with anxiety and fairly anti-social. Art is my way of connecting. It is my way of skipping the cheap talk to get to what matters most; to have conversations with people that mean something. To look back and know that I spent my time trying. Not necessarily succeeding, but who cares about that, anyway?
My life will not be defined by if I succeeded, but by if I tried. This is me trying, reaching out to you and showing you who I am; not the more superficial version of myself that you might bump into on the street, who says “how are you” but really wants to ask “what is your passion?”, but the one who dives straight into those questions without worry.
Are you trapped?
Are you being torn apart?
Are you being held together?
Those are the questions I desire to know answers to, so this is my art, asking those questions.
