3 hr timelapse of Heavenly. 2160 photos 5 sec intervals. This is the most photos I've ever taken in one day for one shoot/session for one purpose.
Had to break away from my normal way of shooting for this. Used Av mode (mostly in hopes that the exposure would be the same throughout the 3 hrs of photos). Small fine JPEG files in Landscape picture style in conjunction with Highlight tone priority to expose to the right as much as possible w/o blowing out the clouds too much. Then brought the pics into DxO and used its Highlight recovery function along with the DxO lighting to bring up the shadows a bit.
Batch processing took all night and luckily with no errors. For my first timelapse, I'm quite happy.
The actual mov file that isn't compressed for web is soooo much nicer looking then this. Just wish I could've uploaded it instead of this. The shadows aren't so dark looking in the original. =(

This series of photos, Heavenly sky 1 through 16, were all taken the same afternoon / early evening in July, 2005. It was indeed a "heavenly" show. All sixteen photos are farmland in southeastern Michigan between Ann Arbor and Jackson.

Introduction
Many years ago the stories of heavenly
visitors has a great impact in our world today of which have been revealed in the
word of God two parallel and beautiful dramas unfold:
There is the Upper Story. God
is real, He is present, and He is working on our behalf.
Heaven is breaking into the world
more than we recognize, and the story of God’s seeking love, perpetual grace,
and longing for relationship with ordinary people is breathtaking.
The other one is Lower Story.
We live on earth. We make mistakes, run from God, and resist His overtures of
love. Sometimes we get so mired in the Lower Story that we fail to recognize
God’s presence breaking into our world.
We
forget that the God of Heaven longs to have a growing relationship, a
friendship, with us – and ultimately sent His Son, Jesus, who died for our sins
and rose again to restore that relationship for all who will believe. The reason for exit strategy in life
is that the end is often exactly that, the end. But with Jesus, the end can become the beginning.

The setting sun creates a Heavenly glow over the United Methodist Church in Herminie, PA
This is my homemade strawberry (virgin) daiquiri cupcake with a lemon curd filling. These scrumptious cupcakes are a favorite among kids and adults alike. The flavor is fresh tart strawberry and lemon, which does not taste like the (probably) familiar to you strawberry boxed cake mix (which I don't really think tastes like strawberry at all).

I was so surprised to see these Heavenly Blue Morning Glories this morning. They don't do well unless they are nurtured and we certainly haven't done that with the drought. We actually decided not to water them at all, but these two must have found moisture. I'm so happy they came out, I really love the beautiful blue of these domestic glories.
this past weekend i spent time near William's Lake which is about 28 miles north of Pagosa Springs, my little town which i reside in...when i am with nature I always remember what the elder's have taught me.....always wit a tune in my brain 2...
