From Wikipedia
Portchester Castle is a medieval castle and former Roman fort at Portchester to the east of Fareham, occupying a commanding position at the head of Portsmouth Harbour. The castle is a Scheduled Ancient Monument and a Grade I listed building. The castle has been in the ownership of the Southwick Estate since the 17th century but is managed by English Heritage and open to visitors throughout the year. It is the only Roman fort in northern Europe with the majority of the walls and bastions complete and still standing.
The Norman church, St. Mary's, which stands in the south-east corner of the grounds, falls within the Anglican Diocese of Portsmouth.
I know everything doesn't look right but attempt one is reasonably pleasing and I have a start point. The houses and cars are intentionally OTT. I saved these settings as Paint-Stitch.

In the early 1930s, the building was increasingly used by Nazi party members. In the mid-30s, the German Workers Front established offices for Gau Kurmark and became owners of the building in 1941. At the same time it became the central office for the SS.

This is just a hay field a little ways away from my house, I figured that tonight's sunset looked kind of nice, so I went and took my exposures for an HDR of it.
