LUMIX G VARIO 14-45mm/F3.5-5.6 ASPH]
[HDR from 5 jpeg images ±4.0EV, Handheld]
A composite image of Yellowknife composed from 3 separate photos (-1,0, +1), and HDR edited in PhotoMatrix Pro. Nikon D200 with Nikon 18-35mm lens, and el-cheapo Conkin-type filters.
we learn through what we see, branch HDR photography is one way I see the world through my lens, the world would be more beautiful if it's you appreciate what is in it
Experimenting with HDR. All these photos were taken after sunset, ISO 100-200 (except rabbits, 800), shutter speeds varying (1/5s to 20s), exposures combined with HDRtist.
I think that this is one of my favorite HDRs yet. There are a few issues that I need to go back one night and fix:
- take off my UV filter to get rid of the reflected light artifacts
- use a much small aperture to sharpen the image up
- level out the tripod a little bit better.
- get a shot with the trees in full bloom
However, I look forward to possibly printing something like this out as a poster.

M.ZUIKO DIGITAL 14-42mm F3.5-5.6ⅡR
[HDR from 5 jpeg images ±4EV, Handheld]
Located on secondary highway #778 south of township road #490 near Thorsby, Alberta.
Three exposures taken with the Pentax K20D and processed in Photomatix / PSP X2 / Topaz Adjust / PSP 6.
This one from my first test using MFT camera. I have been looking around for a while for a more compact, (but still with quality), camera which I can bring along in almost any situation; travelling, walking the dog etc.
This image is a genuine HDR using 3 JPG exposures and no tripode. Processed with Dynamic Photo HDR and LR4.
If you carefully study the image, you might find small imperfections. This is mostly to do with the fact that it was very windy and very difficult to compensate for ghosts during post processing.
Also; Dynamic Photo HDR often give a grainy sky if you go for the more dramatic results, as you probably can see..
