Halnaker Windmill, Halnaker near Chichester, West Sussex UK. Restoration still in progress unfortunately.
shot from tagaytay highlands
Its almost a year since I purchased Photomatix software for HDR, but I can say that I’m fairly new to this type of post processing. Been using one raw file on all my HDRs since I normally cant afford to shoot several shots with various exposures.
photos taken with a Sony A77ii and a Samyang f2.8/10mm lens
with tone mapped effect created in photomatix
This bit of over the top HDR abuse was shot from the same place and time as the preceding sunset. A good example of why people shouldn't be left alone for too long w/ powerful photo editing software.

Desctiption would be:
I went to Big Bend National Park in Texas, which has mountains and is baisically a lush desert.
This town is about 10 or so miles west of the Chisos Mountains area in Big Bend. It is a "ghost town", used to be a mining community in the early 1900s. It has some awesome old buildings you'll see me upload later. All while these amazing mountains are in the background.
These clouds were just too cool, a storm was rolling in (behind me) and the sun was setting.
It was like a movie.
HDR, one project at a time. Train platform for a once bustling city. Where the grass has filled in on either side of platform is where the trains would sit and wait for passengers.
Another from the Llanberis collection the other weekend...

View from Sky Tower, the tallest building in Bucharest (137m). It can be visited Friday in the afternoon so today I went there to see the view. When I got up, I was impressed not because of the high altitude, but because I never got the chance before to see the Bucharest from above. The view reminds me of my travel to Shanghai, where I visited SWFC (492m).
