Der Haselnussbusch (Corylus avellana) ist komplett im Eismantel, bis zu den Kätzchen, den noch geschlossenen männlichen Blüten.

The hazelnut bush (Corylus avellana) is completely covered in an icy shell, right down to the catkins, the still-closed male flowers.

Tiny female Wild Hazelnut flowers are pollinated in winter. They are so beautiful to see on bright days. Very small and inconspicuous. I love their bright colour.
