As a kid, I spent many wonderful days here, exploring the past. There were dinosaurs, knights in shining armor, totem poles and Egyptian mummies. Everything a child needs to spur a vivid imagination. Now there is a fine new addition and I am anticipating many more hours of exploration .
Many do not like the new architecture, but I think it's great. I am certain that love it or hate it, it will be one of the most photographed buildings in Canada for many years to come.

This Japanese guy on the right seems to hate Texas.
The big fellow on the left, who is from Texas, seems to like the Japanese guy's shirt.
Crazy world, man.
Taken onto my driveway. I had to spend some time coaxing it into the sun, and finally managed to grab this shot before it scurried away.
I think it's a black widow, but the red hourglass was on the underbelly instead of the top abdomen.
Look at that strut; not a care in the world.
April 23rd we honor my dads (can't say celebrate because he hates that) 83rd birthday. I took him out to lunch and had mom join us of coarse. And he of coarse told us of the day he was born. His mom had to walk to the hospital in labor, in snow, and was by herself. And somehow, both survived bringing to us 83 years of being a son, husband, dad, employee, grandpa, and now great grandpa. Dad walks every morning, makes his run to the grocery store to buy the food he likes (Cause mom doesn't cook anymore) every day. He loves watching the stock market, loves his tv and most of all he loves his afternoon naps. Hes doing fantastic! Happy birthday Dad!
