Sadly last night in Pasadena and Altadena over 100 No on 8 signs were stolen from yards and public areas and destroyed by vandals. It's so sad that we live in a world where there is proposition on a ballot based on hate.

I hate it when my lettuce turns brown.
I wish there was a way to keep it nicer longer.
So with shot I am finished with The Monthly scavenger hunt for August. Just in Time
Love me or hate me, it's still an obsession. Love me or hate me, that is the question. If you love me then Thank You! If you hate me then Fuck You! (8)
Got bored doing some chem study... Decided playing with blu tac was a better way to spend my time...
When we were staying in Ludham, Norfolk, we took the paddlesteamer from Horning along the River Bure. It was a lovely trip with beautiful scenery and lots of lovely homes (I hate to imagine what they would cost). Most of them had boat garages where they could just cruise along the river and put the boat in safely on their return.
Sorry for so many photos, but it was hard to choose out of the hundred or so that I took LOL.
I hate those who tell me what to do
I hate those who poke around
I hate school
I hate rules, thou righteous
I hate who hates me

from top to bottom: joan crawford, rhonda, and bertha
21 November 2005
i've been wishing for some female betas for a while now. 242, the red male beta, has been a decent enough desk mate, but i was wanting more of a "community" to watch.
we picked up these girls a couple of days ago, planning to put them in a vase like 242's but then opted for a small aquarium. hopefully with the pump i won't have to do as much cleaning as i do with 242 and his live plants. today i finally got their setup finished.
the girls have settled in well. one would think that such small creatures really wouldn't possess much in the way of brains, let alone character. but my new deskmates are real individuals and it's a pleasure to watch them explore, eat, and establish their pack. do fish have packs? cuz i'm not seeing any kind of school mentality here, unless of course we're talking school bullies, in which case joan crawford fits the bill quite nicely. i hate when she hogs all the worms and still chases rhonda and bertha around. not nice.
so there you have it. there are many bullies in the world, even in the world of beta fish. you just watch though: joan crawford will outlast them all.
Held on May 8 at Congregation Shaarey Zedek, the event included "Fight or Flight: A Conference on the Modern Jewish Community," a screening of the movie "Denial," and a follow up discussion with Professor Deborah Lipstadt.
I hate gut rehabs of historic buildings! In this case, it's the Broadway Building In Uptown. Bastards... I guess I should be grateful they aren't tearing the whole thing down, eh?
By the way, the owner of the next door shop told me the building was built by Al Capone, but I did some research and found that this is an unsubstantiated rumor. Too bad...
