Chanting "not my president" and "Black Lives Matters", protesters peacefully walked side by side through the streets of Los Angeles catching some LA motorists by surprise.
As previously mentioned I was the 2nd shooter for the Buena Vista Bike Fest in May. This shot was taken on the last hill before the cyclists descend back into Buena Vista, Colorado. This rider doesn't look nearly as cold as the rider in the previous post of this race.

My relationship with my D7000 in the last month is kind of love-hate.
After I brag about my D7k not having any issues with the AF to my friends, it went wild and took me 3 days to figure it out how to set it right.It works as it should.
Now I bought a new grip,the NIKD7000. It felt sublime in my hand(still does), but I have just noticed that it doesn't use the MB-batteries first and I have to get the EN-EL out every time....But adleast I can shoot it vertically.(for 75$!!)
In conclusion, I don't think that if I would have bought the Nikon F5 I would have had the issues mentioned above and I'm thinking more and more to go for film entirely or raise money and get the D700.

It was probably inevitable. I tried to create a photo stream which calls upon “the better angels of our nature” and have people see through a humanitarian lens the suffering in Gaza and Israel. I made it clear I was not taking a political position or trying to debate. I just wanted to call attention to the suffering of innocent people. Politics crept in.
This evening when I logged on to my site I found comments “justifying” the killing of children under one of my recently posted picture. There were links to hateful propaganda.
I did not ban the individuals from posting on my photos in the future because they are talented photographers and I greatly respect their work. But I ask that they respect my work as well. If they want to “justify” the Israeli government or Hamas killing innocent children, or otherwise perpetuate the hate that keeps the suffering going, they are free to do it on their photo stream---but not on mine.
Just a few things I don't appreciate in this world that I was able to convey through photographs. None are mine besides the middle picture. There was a whole lot of pretty gruesome photos I would have put up, but I considered each of your stomachs, and decided against it. With the exception of Harper.
