Today, we picked up some Smart Doll goodies : a weather cap and a "Haters Gonna Hate" shirt.

I'll admit that sometimes, I can be very lazy redoing Aisha's hijab. So I was basically looking for an excuse on how to just stick on her head without much styling. The cap covers the seam line perfectly. So now, Aisha can go around town looking like a cute hijabi hipster ;)

This is a preview of an upcoming movie. The Late Great Pilgrim's Progress, Christiana's Journey.

This is a family project that is being worked on at a slow but steady rate. The finished movie should be posted at www.nancys-world.com/pilgrims-progress-movie .

The Pilgrim's Progress is a Christian allegory written by John Bunyan in 1678. This story was based on a series of dreams Bunyan had when he was jailed for preaching the gospel. This book has been translated into more than 200 languages, and has never been out of print. Christian, the central character in the story, journeys from the City of Destruction to the Celestial City. Along the way he faces many dangers and obstacles. This story closely resembles many of the life experiences Christians have pre and post conversion on the road of life, the pitfalls and dangers faced in the lives of many Christian believers who are on the same journey.

This movie is loosely based on Part II of The Pilgrim’s Progress where Christian’s wife ( Christiana ) follow in the footsteps of her husband, the plot of this movie incorporates some of the events from part 1 and presents present modern day scenarios into this classic story.

I see this around from time to time in Bankers Hill, San Diego. I'm not sure if they're leftover from a one-time hooray of if there's an active tagger out there, I just know we don't see eye to eye.

Love And Hates

Toby spends more time inside than he would care to.

Some people just have

Self-control issues.

Not medical issues.

From her comparitively long

Premeditative standpoint,

She seems to possess some

Desire to behave rationally.

But when the instant of

Action draws near,

She behaves exactly

The opposite.

The incriminating trait of these

Self-control issues have been

Observed by a number of people.

Her lack of self-control pertains

To a number of different behaviors,

Such as furthering an education,

Saving vs. consumption decisions,

Employment search and activity,

Addiction to prescription drugs,

And projecting her vile emotions

Onto her primary social groups,

Both past and present.

While there is some divergence

On the degree to which she is

Aware of her issues,

There is only a miniscule

Possibility of naivete.

The majority of these observations

Has concluded FULL awareness,

Characterized by her lengthy

Algorithmic courses of action.

My son has Celiac disease, the inability to eat gluten (wheat, etc.) products. Therefore, he has become quite an accomplished chef. But he doesn't much like to take his turn at cleaning up.

I love the kid, love his cooking, but hate the disease.

It was like a podcast...for your eyes!

First of all I hate spiders, I mean HATE them! Aggiechristine and I went to Allen Center so I could check out the Disappearing Gnomes. I was walking by this handrail when I see this tiny creature, and when I say tiny I mean tiny! He was maybe 1/8 of an inch at his widest. I switched the camera to macro and went in for a close up. Just after I took the shot this little 8 eyed bastard shot off the rail and went straight for my face in an obvious attempt to kill me. I screamed like a girl and Christine laughed and laughed and laughed. I really wanted to smush this spider but she wouldn't let me saying some nonsense about them being good for something for the environment. I may just have to revisit Allen Center alone with a can of Raid....Did I mention I hate spiders?

summer is almost coming to an end.

hate that :-q

Dr. Volkmar Hable was trained as a physicist and geoscientist and holds a Ph.D. in Geosciences and a B.S. in Agriculture and Agronomics. After graduation, however, he took a slightly different career path and entered the financial world. He is currently the CEO of #Samarium Group Holding Ltd. Samarium Group is an investment and development company that specializes in healthcare, energy, technology, logistic, science, engineering, resources, and medical industries, focusing on companies that are worth less than $5 billion. #VolkmarHable creates partnerships with investors and client companies and looks for organizations with high-growth opportunities in which to invest. He also manages portfolios for his clients, submits studies on the space, engineering, science, logistics and energy sectors, and interviews with management teams for the company. With offices in Medellin, Vienna, Vancouver, Singapore, Sydney, and Zürich the company’s typical ROI (return on investment) is 17 percent a year and it consistently delivers to its clients by offering preferred shares to selected investors. #VolkmarHable stands by the company’s philosophy, which states: To think against the grain and to swim against the current - that is the secret behind that which the alpha wolves and their packs dream of in vain: to win when everybody wins, and to win when the others lose too. The sources of success are upstream.

From 1997-2001, #VolkmarHable was the CEO for Adecco’s offices in Europe and Asia which employed 6,000 people. At Adecco, a Fortune 500 human resources company providing personnel services to businesses worldwide, #VolkmarHable gained valuable experience by heading the European operations and was instrumental in expanding the operations to the Romanian market. Prior to Adecco, Volkmar Hable worked in senior executive positions in the oil exploration industry and served with companies involved in tourism, geophysics, global engineering consulting and spent time with the diplomatic corps.

Volkmar Hable is a prolific author and has published two books on marketing and investment planning; he has also contributed to books on geophysics and calculus. He speaks English, Spanish, German, and French fluently, and he contributes to various research firms. In what little free time he has Volkmar Hable enjoys mountaineering and reading.

I hate the way the colours look in this! merugh! I'm going home next weekend though I think, my pictures always work better at home!

Been so busy this week, had an essay to do for friday which was 50% of my module grade in Forms Of Cinema class... not sure how I did in my essay but oh well, I tried! I'm really not good at writing haha that comes across on flickr too...

However my photography lecturer gave me really positive feedback about what I'm doing in my practical work, which is awesome because the practical work is the stuff I care about most!

Hope everyone has had a good week, sorry I haven't been around as much! Just been so busy, I miss being on flickr all the time...

I was pretty drunk when I took this picture of one of the dancers at the Can Can last night. The dancers were all hanging out having drinks on stage after the show was over.

He looks annoyed with me. Sorry man...your show was pretty awesome though.

A fulfilling life to me...

is as simple as giving full attention, boundless compassion and kindness to the person you be with...

a close one, a friend, a stranger or even an enemy:o)

Surprisingly...we learn more from unhappy events and people we hate in life..

Those are the events and peoples that give us real training..

Being Patient, Accept and Respect Individual Uniqueness:o)

Nice weekend to all:o)

should I hate you,

for just left without good bye

for letting me Dad-less

shouldn’t

cos you love me, always

cos you stay in my heart, always

cos you are ... in peace, from now on

For that,

Day 157:: 365 Pictures in 365 Days of 365 Moments:: "Don’t let anyone’s ignorance, hate, drama, or negativity stop you from being the best person you can be."-Unknown:: It seems like everything we do today is the cause or reason for some sort of drama. People blow things way out of proportion when they don't get what they want. Its just pathetic. I know I am guilty of this, but it isn't constant. Some people need to just chill out the drama, and lay off it for a while.

To protest hate speech and violence, community members in Mill Valley held large banners and signs over freeway overpasses.

One sign said ‘United Against Hate’, another said ‘No H8’. A dozen activists held those signs above the pedestrian walkway over Highway 101, off the Seminary Drive exit. They were seen by thousands of people driving into San Francisco.

This protest was in response to an alt-right rally, Patriot Prayer, scheduled to take place at Crissy Field in San Francisco on Saturday, August 26, 2017.

As drivers passed by the signs on their way south to San Francisco, thousands saw the signs, and hundreds honked their approval with our protest.

This political action was led by Peter Graumann and the Immigration and Civil Rights team of the Mill Valley Community Action Network (MVCAN), in coordination with Indivisible Sausalito. Join your neighbors to keep democracy alive!

I hate black heads, I love Biore. Although I heard it makes your pores bigger, I don't care. I just want them gone!

Last weekend I went with my roommates to Toys R Us (you wouldn't guess that the average of our ages is 25) and Steve decided that he HAD to have this 1,000 piece Simpsons photo mosaic puzzle. None of us are puzzle people, but out of the sheer will to get the thing put together so we didn't have to look at it anymore, we got it done in less than a week. We put glue on it and now it's going to hang on Steve's bedroom wall.
