I used to give these glass ornaments to my mom every year for X-Myass. She HATED them, and actually boxed them up and sent them back. I think they're pretty cool. She was a good ol' gal though. I miss her.

That's Ed Miller. He hates having his picture taken. So here he is on the internet, for everyone to see.

I hate flower photos

More than any other image

Worse than sunsets or even pictures of people's pets

The easy surface that requires nothing reveals nothing and gives the illusion that everything is just pretty pretty pretty

or the things that matter are within your grasp

that it and nothing dies

and i know that every photo is a lie in most cases

and people forget that the first betrayal happened in a garden

and that the first lie played to a desire

and the flowers said nothing

so here's my #&$%#$ flower photo

i shot it while getting propane

so we could cook for our partners

and dry our clothes to fit in

and after that if anything is left

i'm gonna take the whole lot

to the first flower bed i see and let them all burn

It's that time of year again. I'm back at school on Wednesday and we always come back and have exams :( Its my birthday on Saturday and i have an important Math exam on the Monday so i'll have to do some studying. Teachers are evil. If it wasn't for Mumford & Sons new album playing at high volume i don't know what i'd do...

Guess what? ....These garments were very reasonably priced.

....still alive in America. The next day, when interviewed by an Asheville TV reporter, the owner said he was not showing prejudice. He just felt the Obama was unqualified for the presidency and he wanted the sign up while Obama was in Asheville. He took the sign down later in the day after the demonstration that occurred outside his business.

...said a good friend of mine many years ago, while settling down to a night's sleep in a tent half way up a mountain on top of some cold, wet rocks. Thanks to the protection afforded by the tent the ground underneath him felt uncannily like cold, wet rocks.

I too hate camping. But my eye was caught by this little dose of colour on the tent currently set up in our dining room (don't ask).

To me, I find this incredibly pertinent to our time. Especially with the age of technology and our ascending generation. When I say that, I mean me, I mean us. We're headed into the world. And yet I've found more and more that the maturity necessary to face and to combat the real world is horribly lacking in a majority of young individuals.

You'll find this constantly through the internet, specifically with cyberbullying. People are finally starting to recognize that cyberbullying can be truly psychologically damaging. Not only that, but the internet gives insecure individuals the opportunity to injure others, for somehow this boosts their opinions of themselves, by hurting someone else. It's as if "congratulating [them]selves on [other's] defects" is actually a productive usage of time, when really we should be working to fix ourselves.

Apologies for the terrible quality/pictures, I just wanted to get the ideas out as I read this, so I took pictures on my iPhone.

Spent a lot of today doing this, in between watching F1, cooking, buying dog food, watching llamas and general avoidance behaviour. Then I realised the light on the shirt was quite attractive, so put it off a bit longer by taking a picture. I am not a fan of the ironing task.

Link was suffering in the heat, it was very hot today, but he was not leaving us out alone, finally Frank and Jimmy Dean did their business and they all went back in to the Air Conditioning.
