Easter, also called Pascha or Resurrection Sunday, is a festival and holiday celebrating the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, described in the New Testament as having occurred on the third day of his burial after his crucifixion by the Romans at Calvary c. 30 AD. It is the culmination of the Passion of Jesus, preceded by Lent (or Great Lent), a forty-day period of fasting, prayer, and penance.

STARTING TO HATCH

One can see that the shark moved in the egg. I was so crossed with myself for not checking how to use the movie function of the camera. Turned out it is not so intuitive....

The flat guy is okay--he's just new

These two portraits were completed using grid method and by cross hatching with pen. Looking back at this GCSE work, I can see how far my skill in proportion and creating tone has improved. As although I'm happy with these, I believe nowadays I could add more detail and realism.

Today at Peter's Valley Craft Center, there was a large event planned to raise money for the Blacksmithing studio. Although, everyone's attention was stolen by these little snapping turtles hatching from a pile of coal in back of the studio.
