Having some fun messing around with some photobashing/manips. Nothing too serious just trying something different.

Here's one of the last Mercury Cougar coupes, the seventh-generation "sport compact" model. :-)
The previous Cougar, an intermediate personal luxury coupe, was discontinued after other cars of that nature went the way of the rumble seat. Ford's Lincoln-Mercury division attempted to re-invent the Cougar as a sporty hatchback.
Sold as the Ford Cougar in Europe, the Mark 7 Cougar, in production from 1999 to 2002 (I don't remember the year of this car), featured a 2-liter four-cylinder engine with an optional 2.5-liter Duratec V6 available.
The Mark 7 Cougar gave the Lincoln-Mercury division a Mercury that was not a Ford with a new badge (remember the Bobcat?), but it did not sell very well and it had a short lifespan. Ironically, many Ford executives felt it would have sold better as a Ford-branded model had it been offered as such in North America - and that the car didn't fit the "Mercury image."
Whatever that is.
Taking a short stroll before our Flickrmeet today, I happened across street performer Jimbo (who I just talked to on Saturday), he was loading up some stuff into his car with Carisa Hendrix
I suppose now would be a good time to promote Jimbo's monthly show called the Garden Variety Show and Carisa is the co-host...
And just to be clear, she just happened to be sitting there (in a red car), I always knew there was a good reason for station wagons... And I only took one photo...
Clean, stock Honda Civics of the 4th generation are starting to get less common around here. This one looks quite nice apart from the chrome on the fenders. This one has Special Edition badges.

The Smart Forfour (stylized as "smart forfour") is a city car (A-segment in Europe) presented and produced by Smart over two generations. The first generation was marketed in Europe from 2004 to 2006 (5 door, front engine) and the second generation was marketed in Europe from 2014 onward (5 door, rear engine).
The first generation Forfour was marketed only in Europe from 2004 to 2006 and in Australia as a 4-door, 5-seat hatchback, sharing its platform with the Mitsubishi Colt.
The car was produced at the NedCar factory in the Netherlands in conjunction with Mitsubishi Motors. This is the same factory that produced Volvo 300s in the 1970s and 1980s and the Volvo V40s in the 1990s. To save production costs, the Smart Forfour shared almost all of its components with the 2003 Mitsubishi Colt. This includes the chassis, suspension and a new generation of MIVEC petrol engines.
Stylistically the FourFor aped the 'Tridion Safety Cell' design of the Smart ForTwo, though the car was manufactured in a straight forward steel monocoque alongside Mitsubishi Colt platform twin. (Though the outer panels are bolt on plastic parts)
The Smart Forfour was phased out from production due to slow sales in part to high purchase cost and lack of market competitiveness.

On SORN.
954 cc engine.
Citroen Saxos were very popular in 90s, though the survival rate appears to be lower than that of the related Peugeot 106. The East Coast was a budget model powered by the 50 bhp 954 cc TU series engine.
I really like the styling of this generation of Yaris, very clean but also busy/modern at the same time. This model on the other hand is typical 21st century Tomica, although some of it's features look flatter compared to the real deal.
I happened to spot this good looking Focus at the Colonnade Shopping Center in Ann Arbor on a Sunday when Friends and I had lunch in a restaurant there.
