First build in a series of music related builds I've done for a contest (build as much as you can in 10 days - music related stuff).

Anyone gets the incredibly idiotic reference? :)) (I mean it, it's really dumb)

Good Clean Fun performing at the Taste of Champaign-Urbana, 2019.

I was standing in line at Target and behind me, I heard this wonderful harmonica music. I turned and witnessed this guy playing a wonderful tune. It brightened up everyone around him. A recent challenge in the photo class was stepping outside one's comfort zone. I LOVE street and candid photography but I fall to pieces when trying to shoot people up close. I can ask them to be my stranger, no problem or have a conversation with them but I freak out when trying to sneak a photo. I tried with this gentleman but in the end, I just asked him if I could take a photo of him playing for the shoppers in line at Target. Live and Learn! I will keep trying....

This man dances and plays his harmonica while listening to a radio pressed to his ear. It's a bit out of tune and very repetitive, but he puts plenty of energy into it. An interesting character indeed :)

My other pictures of him here and here.

A pair of these beautiful songsters have been visiting our chook yard and treated us to some stunning music this morning.

I just love wandering the mazelike alleys. Especially this one near the train station in Kichijoji. To get inspired (and for the Leica Bonus ;) ) watch this Japanology Plus Episode: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hdrz7_44NiA

Since I'm on Flickr so much Toni decided to take up a hobby too.

John Popper of Blues Traveler just shreds the harmonica as he plays. While best know for "Run Around" or "Hook" here is a small solo that is very nice. Enjoy !

Barefoot Jimmy Schwarz-The Blues Disciples at The Blues Benefit for Hurricane Harvey, Irma and Maria. Anodyne Coffee, 10/8/2017.

This harmonica is passed down from generation to generation in our family. I will always remember my grandpa playing it.

This was was a real virtuoso with an interesting repertoire and real musicianship. I had never seen such a player before ( apparently they are regular street muscians across Europe ) and was quite fascinated. During subsequent visits to Venice I saw a younger man also performing beautifully.
