A bird I rarely see these days.

Was visiting the rellies over the weekend, and made a trip to a small forest area.

Instantly heard the call, and just a few minutes later found this one hunting on the ground.

I followed along for several minutes as neither of us were in any hurry.

We always kept a 'Music Box' under the bed for our kids and then the grandkids! It contained two mini guitars, a tambourine, shakers and two harmonicas, This is a section of the blue, metal Parrot harmonica - it appears that they have a worth of about £12-£18 on Ebay .....and I have a black one too !!!

I like to listen to music, I like dancing on music, but unfortunately I can not make music because I do not play a musical instrument. Fortunately, there are enough people in the world who are born with the gift to make music so I can enjoy music by listening to it.

This rests on the side of a riverside brewpub in Hallowell, Maine.

This was was a real virtuoso with an interesting repertoire and real musicianship. I had never seen such a player before ( apparently they are regular street muscians across Europe ) and was quite fascinated. During subsequent visits to Venice I saw a younger man also performing beautifully.

Without music,

life would be a mistake.

This is a miniature harmonica that I bought at a Manfred's concert several years ago. It's made by Hohner and can be played. It measures 3.5 cm in width.
