No idea why I didnt do this in black and white in the first place. Oh how I wish I had known about strobist lighting when I took this.

Dit glas-in-loodraam is afkomstig uit het gebouw van het Algemeen Handelsblad aan de Amsterdamse Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal. Het verloren gewaande kunstwerk werd in 2005 teruggevonden. Het is in 1928 vervaardigd door Harm Kamerlingh Onnes, ter gelegenheid van het honderdjarig bestaan van het Algemeen Handelsblad.
In een ritmische, realistische stijl is de productie van de krant afgebeeld, van kantooractiviteiten boven, grafische voorbereidingen (tweede rij), schrijven, fotograferen (derde rij) en ten slotte drukken met een Linotype-pers en distribueren (onder). De klok staat dan op vier uur.
De twintig panelen werden vorig jaar teruggevonden in een boerenstal bij Amsterdam. De eigenaar had ze indertijd gered uit de sloop met het oog op de waarde van het lood.
