Caught a great performance by Harm & Ease at the Burlington Sound of Music Festival.🎸
They’re a hometown band formed by high school friends Danny Lopez and Rylan Whalen, the group later spent time in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where their sound evolved. 🇦🇷
Their music blends classic rock influences with modern elements, drawing comparisons to bands like The Rolling Stones and The Black Keys. 🎤
This scene played itself out in the food court of a mall... The young woman had clearly been cutting herself and the guard was bandaging her arms.
Above and beyond the call of duty for most security guards I think. But, he obviously knew these girls, so, I expect they were regulars on his 'patch'.
Personally, I am glad she had someone to help her, even if he could only help with the surface wounds.
Silang, Cavite, 30 October 2009?Greenpeace Water Patrol activists examine contaminated sediments beneath the wastewater discharge pipe of hazardous waste treatment company Cleanway Technology Corporation (CTC) in Silang, Cavite, around 55 kilometers South of Manila, prior to plugging the pipe itself. Toxic fumes from four chemical leaks since October 14 have downed around 70 people in nearby communities, but CTC has yet to disclose what chemicals, and in what quantities, have spilled out to the environment due to their operations. The discharge pipe empties directly into a small creek that flows through nearby communities and into freshwater springs in the vicinity, before it joins tributaries to Launa Lake. Greenpeace is demanding full disclosure of the toxic chemicals from CTC, as well as full cooperation from the company in the investigation of the case so that Cleanway is accountable for damage inflicted on human health and the environment, and responsible for clean up of contamination. ©Greenpeace

D50 Battery grip bought from ebay, i don't know the name of this product though
It is made out of cheap plastic it feels very fragile, I mean i get scared when holding it with one hand. Unless both the batteries are charged full the power status level fluctuates alot, i don't know if that can harm the camera or not. And the vertical shutter? well it is not a vertical shutter, it is the ML-L3 remote shutter nailed onto the grip (It works exactly like it too). This means it doesnt give u half press and when it's on you can't use the camera's own shutter and it works about 80% of the time.
But er i don't actually regret buying it, because...well look at it! it looks so cool on the D50!

Had a bit of an adventure while taking this lot of photos - intended on going to North Berwick, but somehow took the wrong turn without thinking and ended up going to Dunbar instead, but that was fine. Then when I was taking photos of the cement works, I heard a siren going off (sounded just like an air raid siren!) which had me a bit worried, given my close proximity to the nuclear power station! (I believe the siren was from the quarry I was right next to, but had no idea at the time and presumed from power station!). Decided at that point to move on, but then saw the horses in the field looking very serene and unconcerned by the siren, so figured I may as well stop and take photos of them anyhow :) Finished off the film roll at the harbour in Dunbar.

Inside the St. Mike's ER driveway, you have a vending machine for drug supplies. Not just clean needles, but crack pipes, etc. This is so f*&^%$. Aren't Agencies like Streethealth enough in this city to provide resources? Resources and access to treatment? No, let's just hand out shit and not deal with the underlying problems.

AGM-88 High-Speed Anti-Radiation Missile (HARM)
The AGM-88 HARM is currently the standard anti-radar missile in the U.S. inventory, completely replacing the earlier AGM-45 Shrike and AGM-78 Standard ARM. It is a tactical, air-to-surface missile designed to home in on electronic transmissions coming from ground-based anti-aircraft radar systems.
The AGM-88 can detect, attack, and destroy a radar antenna or transmitter with minimal aircrew input. It can discriminate a single target from a number of emitters in an area and has a terminal homing ability that provides a launch-and- leave capability for the carrier aircraft.
The missile is powered by a Thiokol low-smoke solid-fueled rocket motor and carries a 146 pound blast-fragmentation warhead.
Craig picked up these polished Boyd Harm wheels in a staggared set-up. He's running 19x8" and 19x10" with 245/30/19 and 275/30/19 sized tires. We mounted, balanced, and shipped it all to Australia for him. Looks pretty nice there in his pictures. Way better than the blizzard we're having in Chicago right now.
