This is Radha and Krishna. The Deities were installed by His Divine Grace Srila A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Maharaj in 1969. They are called Sri Sri Radha Londonisvara.
In the foreground are the footprints of The Divine Couple, each marking has a meaning.
At base of Krishna’s lotus feet is Giriraj Govardhan (a sacred hill). Thousands of devotees from around the world will circumambulate Govardhan hill in their annual pilgrimage trip as part of the circumambulation of Vrindavan in India during the month of Karthik.
The book is Srimad Bhagavatam that is the cream of cream of the holy Vedic scripture comprising 18,000 verses.

Hare Krishna Often the largest group and Earth Day In Balbao Park.They have always come at the end of the parade so I was surprised than less then 10 min into the parade the started to pass me by. www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=90643796
There is a famous quote in the Hare Krishna western culture that mostly the devotees back then were mainly hippies, especially the start of the movement between the 60s and 70s. The hippies shaved their head and kept themselves clean staying high by continuously chanting the Maha mantra (Hare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare) and observing the four regulative principles of no intoxication, no illicit sex, no gambling and no meat eating.

While out riding my bike today I happened upon a very colorful event at Sherbourne Common on Toronto's Lakeshore. It was the 45th annual Festival of India, a Hare Krishna event. Toronto's version of this worldwide July celebration has developed into the largest of its kind in North America. (www.festivalofindia.ca)
The Common was filled with a swirl of color, activity, music, and the scent of vegetarian cooking.
This happy group (complete with a toddler sleeping on the ground at their feet - out of frame) attracted my attention and responded nicely to my request for a photo.
I live in Ukraine. Most people in my country are Christians. And i am proud that Ukrainians are tolerant of people of different religions and cults.
Tapasvi Maharaj is a diksa disciple of nitya-lila pravista om visnupad astottara-sata Srila Gour Govinda Maharaj. Later on, Maharaj took shelter of nitya-lila pravista om visnupad astottara-sata Sri Srimad BV Narayan Gosvami Maharaj.
A couple of years ago, Tapasvi Maharaj was ordained the sanyassa order by nitya-lila pravista om visnupad astottara-sata Srila Bhakti Vijnana Bharati Maharaj. Maharaj is now travelling and preaching cult of Hare Krsna / Gaudiya Vaishanavaism around world.

Hare Krishnas in Münchener Strasse in Rosenheim, Upper Bavaria. The independent city of Rosenheim is located in the centre of the district of Rosenheim, and is also the seat of administration of this region. It is located on the west bank of the Inn at the confluence of the rivers Inn and Mangfall, in the Bavarian Alpine Foreland.
