This would prove to be the toughest obstacle of the day, both on the hike in and out. Had to cross this 'creek' that was flowing pretty good. I wound up crossing just to the left of the white 'froth', using underwater rocks to stand/hold onto until I got to the slippery logs on the other side.

Hardest plane to shoot during my two visits (so far) to the museum. I simply couldn't find the right spot from where I could get the "right" framing based on the lenses I was carrying. I am tempted to go back and shoot it as a Sony intelligent panorama and see if it looks any worse.

3 Spitfires and 1 Hurricane flying in formation over Yalding to commemorate "The Hardest Day" 18th August 1940.
This commemoration was organised by the Biggin Hill Airport Community and included aircraft from the BBMF as well as privately owned planes. Altogether 24 planes gathered at Biggin Hill and set off in different waves to mark this occasion that some historians see as a turning point of the Battle of Britain.

Even though the heart is breaking. We must love our parents and treat them with loving, care, for we will only know their value when we see their empty chair. No language can express the power, and beauty, and heroism and majesty of a mother’s love. Our mother’s love is peace. We may not be able to prepare the future for our children, but we can atleast prepare our children for the future. Our children require us most of all to love them for who they are, not to spend our whole time trying to correct them. Parents, they didn’t leave us when we were young, so we should not leave them when they are old. We must always honour our parents. We never know the love of a parent till we become parents ourselves. When we look into our mother’s eyes. We know that is the purest love we can find on this earth.
Let us always remember that nobody on earth can ever love us more than our parents.
The hardest part of having an analogue camera with no viewfinder or flash is knowing whether a shot has turned out or not.
Bright natural light seems to be the only thing that works. I'm going to experiment by mounting a spot flash to the top of the Lomo to see if I can get some night shots.
Anyway this shot here is of Nata's dog Oskar. Everyone who buys an ActionSampler seems to take a photo of their dog and now I can see why.
