Activists protesting the failure to indict killer cops Darren Wilson and Daniel Pantaleo gather in Chinatown for a rally, 'die in' and meandering march through the northwest quadrant of the city. I counted around two hundred at the 'die in', and about one hundred still present as the mostly youthful crowd stormed up gentrified 14th St. Interactions between the marchers and police were peaceful and respectful.There were no arrests I am aware of. Similar actions were taking place all across the USA. They will almost certainly continue to occur unless there is some meaningful reform of policing culture and practice, especially as it impacts communities of color.
