I got a little carried away this weekend. Mayday festival on Saturday 480 photos, BMAD on Sunday 594 photos. I will be rather busy in the next few days.

The lighting is horrible in this, but I didn't have the strength to reposition the flash and try again. It took too many tries to get this shot.
This male blue dasher has what looks like eggs attached to the base of his thorax. That's the area where some of the male reproductive organs are located.

Kismet back then (6months old) was waaay ahead of his time doing the Handstand Challenge to check out his brother from an other mother, ( literally! Plumeau is 4 months old there:-)
Pauli verwendet tatsächlich oft seine "Hände". Gefühlsmäßig rechts und links abwechselnd gleich oft. Nur bei der Tastatur ist er ein wenig "patschert"

I just learned to do handstands. Quite pleased with myself, despite the apparently grumpy expression :)
This photo was taken at west Kirby marine lake at sunset with a Olympus E-420 DSLR 14-42mm lens. I went out that day to photograph two free runners (in the photo) and on the way back to the car which was parked at the lake we saw how still the water was, so I had to get pictures !
it was a very cold day (there was still some snow around) but i still made them do a handstand on the pier, which is only 1 metre wide, any whey you will be glad to know they didn't fall in :)
