This was done for a "tween". Her mom wanted it in colors that would match her daughters bedding so I searched the internet for the particular bedding set and came as close as I could. I love the little details (keys on the purse, the shirt, dress and skirt are on paper hangers, etc). This photo is low quality(It's from my old 35mm camera)so it's hard to see all the cute details.

As I mentioned before, I love koi and making stuff ; this is a combo of both.I made something similar to this 2 years ago and gave it to my in-laws in Thailand when I visited them.I always wanted to make more koi and I finally did but this one is for a bigger frame(11X14).This pic was taken before it was framed since the glass can produce a glare. There is a pic of it framed in my photostream. This koi is similar to a Maruten Sanke( a white Japanese carp with red and black spots and a red forehead dot). Each koi is aprox 7" long and made from about 30 quilled shapes. The center lily pad is 4" across and made from cardstock that I textured to add some dimension. The waterlily(lotus) is made form over 30 quilled marquise shaped pieces. This is currently on etsy.I will be making another one with fish that are different colors to sell in my shop soon.See my profile for a link:o)

This is one of six dresses that I made with paper(quilling, punching and weaving).I made this and the others for an order for a 6 year old little girl named Emma.See my photostream to view this blue dress in the completed order.

Right on the kisser!! :o)

I saw some rings made from buttons and decided to make one of my own.My supplies were: 2" circular piece of fabric, red felt petals(I cut them), vintage triangle crystal beads, adjustable ring blank(called "beadable ring blank"),button kit and of course, thread.I like to wear this for fun(no washing dishes with it) and I love that I found a good use for my granny's triangular beads that I've had for over 15 years. The colors on this remind me of a piece of watermelon- the essence of Summer:o)

This is a smaller version of the one that I made for my mom.It has the same scent too(chocolate dipped strawberry). This time I scented some aroma beads(silica gel beads that absorb scented oils)and I added them to the center of the polyester stuffing for an extra scent "boost".I'm not sure what I'll do with this one yet....maybe just keep it for myself and smell it when I get a chocolate craving ;o)This was completed June 10,2008.

Some special gifts for my friends made this November. Had so much fun crafting these!

The cats decided to was a great idea to race around the house with some beautiful alpaca lace weight yarn in pale pink

Sometimes I'll sit in the coffee shop and crochet when I have an extra few minutes. It's such a relaxing way to spend the afternoon and it nearly always attracts people whose "Grandma used to crochet."

This is the beginning of an order for 50 washcloths from a lady who is having a bridal shower.

Well, these aren't your Grandma's washcloths - the colors are so much more vibrant these days ... here's the free pattern: handmadebyannabelle.blogspot.com/2010/04/crochet-pattern-...

My niece will be getting this for her 6th birthday tomorrow.I tried really hard to complete this doll in 1 day but with the kids home for Thanksgiving break....that did not happen:o)

She is made from felt and fabric from my own pattern which I think I'm happy with now(I hate to say that because I'm a perfectionist and may want to keep tweaking it).The doll is bubblegum scented which goes well with her bubblegum color.I think she is my favorite so far:oD

see my photostream for other pics of her and my profile for a link to my shop

Thanks for looking!

This is a close up of an 11X14 paper quilling that was in a white frame. Her mom wanted a princess themed paper quilling for her 7 year old daughter's room. She also ordered one for her 11 year old daughter ( see carissa in my photostream).Sorry,The photo is low quality(pre-digital camera).

As promised. I said I'd complete a paper quilling collage before Christmas and so I did! My kids and I love Domo so what better to make than this big monster (my husband says he looks like a brownie).Since glass glare is a total annoyance, this pic was taken unframed.See my photostream to see the rest of the collage:o) Also see my profile if you really like this-click on the link...Thanks for looking:o)

This was inspired by the team colors of Cleveland but would look cute in any little boys room. The shadowbox frame is made from Oak and is aprox 2" deep. All of the shapes are made by hand from my own patterns and each piece of artwork is original.

If you're interested in this and some closer pics, see my profile for a link :o)

Completed Oct 5,2008. This is a close up of the guitar(aprox. 3"- 4") on a paper quilling order. A friend ordered this for her 7 year old niece who loves singing/dancing and music. I used 2 shades of pink, 2 shades of purple and a silver/gray metallic paper since her bedroom colors were purple, pink and gray. It is in an 11X14(aprox.) frame with an 8X10 matte. To see the guitar in the finished order and other close up pics, look in my photostream(they are All there!) .The whole order took me aprox 45 hours to complete.

This is the quilling side of the ornament. The other side is cardstock. Both sides have a frosty glitter applied to them.I used a Sizzix machine to die cut the other side,it was quick to do but the quilling side....not so quick :o( I had to make the coil fit PERFECTLY for each one.I made 7 of them in different colors.See my photostream for the other pics

This cutie pie is going to a recent college graduate in Bangkok. This is the4th puppy in a litter of 6 that will be traveling(coach of course)to Thailand in Oct(2009).He's made from:Felt,Safety eyes, safety nose, pvc collar with grommets, hydrant charm,Gingham bow,and Bear with a graduation cap.

This is a super close-up of my newest paper quilling creation. It is framed in a Black 11X14 shadowbox frame (removed for this close-up)Each koi has aprox. 30 quilled pcs. The waterlily is made from Peach colored cardstock that was cut and shaped by hand. The lily pads have faux water droplets on them which were a last minute addition that I'm glad I added(it was missing something without them). This is now available in my shop(see profile for a link). There is one already in there that has a different color theme.

Thanks for looking.

This was completed dec 2008 for a 5 year old boy named Tyler(in this pic it is unframed/just sitting on a canvas board). His Aunt ordered this for him for Christmas. She told me that he like the movie "Cars" so I kept some similarities (The car colors, the numbers, and the prize cup) but tried to not copy too much. I wanted him to be able to keep it in his room even when he's outgrown "cars"(if that's possible;o)) See my photostream to view it framed or to see what other orders I've completed. Thanks!!!!

This is the most recent order that I completed. It was finished Aug.14th 2008 for a baby shower on the 17th. Since the parents of the soon-to-be born baby have a farm, the theme was farm animals and specifically John Deere and Case tractors.

As promised, I said I'd complete a paper quilling collage before Christmas and so I did!

I've been wanting to make a Kokeshi Doll for a long time. After making one for my daughter I adjusted my pattern a little and finally came up with this. It's not exactly a Kokeshi but it's inspired by my favorite things on them. These are made with felt, fabric, buttons, safety eyes, ribbon, tassels, and poly batting. They each have an obi pocket(on the back) for little trinkets, notes or a lost tooth(they're big enough for a folded dollar to fit into). This version is lightly scented with a fruit punch smell(yum!)..If you like her.see my profile for a link:o)

Good mail day today! <3

Completed Oct 5,2008. This is a close up of the girl with crimped hair on a paper quilling order I just completed. A friend placed an order for her 7 year old niece who loves singing/dancing and music. I used 2 shades of pink, 2 shades of purple and a silver/gray metallic paper since her bedroom colors were purple, pink and gray. It is in an 11X14(aprox.) frame with an 8X10 matte. To see the finished order and other close up pics, look in my photostream(they are All there!) .The whole order took me aprox 45 hours to complete.

I made this 9" wide plushie for my daughter Sunee in Aug 2009.She's been asking me to make her something that was a "head with eyes and hair".I kinda made her to look like my daughter with her dark pigtails but my kids say that it looks like their aunt Ann(o'well). My supplies were: 30mm safety eyes, felt(colors:champagne, black, pink, and sparkly red),flower buttons(earrings),hello kitty ribbon, black twisted cord(pigtails),batting,Black embroidery floss(eyelashes) and of course thread. Also she has a Cherry Blossom scent added to her stuffing(I LOVE it,it smells so clean)

I've been thinking that this would be cute to make another one as a purse or a wall hanging(with a little silk ribbon loop on the back). We''ll see...so many ideas but only 2 hands:o)

As promised. I said I'd complete a paper quilling collage before Christmas and so I did!
