This picture shows the wood turnings that I got at Michaels for the sink handles. I painted them with regular grey craft paint and then some metallic silver craft paint. I drilled large holes in the turnings and in the counter. Then I used long screws to secure them to the counter so that they could still turn.

This is a handle on the back of a lorry which I snapped as we walked around the Red Bull temporary paddock in Milton Keynes. I thought it might make a good mono shot.

Edited in Silver Efex Pro 2. Better on black.

A couple of days ago, the dishwasher handle switch gave up again - Sugru wasn't rigid enough to hold its shape under regular compression and friction. So I measured out the critical dimensions, designed and printed off an insert to address the worn-down nubs.

Of course, once that was addressed the electronics died completely! They were already only half-working, but the previously-glitchy switches were probably what killed them in the end.

Replacement board(s) ordered. Once those arrive though, I think I'll reverse engineer the broken board and open source the results. Who knows what may result? ;-)

Handle with care, lest you break it. Which I apparently just did. Damn it.

The array goes in a slot above the blue handle, which is then locked down. The manifold below has metal aspirator pins that dip into the small plastic tubes of reagents that are flowed into the chip cassette during the process.

on toddler knife. It was a gift from friends in Denmark when our son was born. It is a beautiful little knife.

These are . . .a true "HAND - REST" ! !

WOW ! What a difference. These are on my hummel.

This door handle is to be found on the door of a large church next to the park in the centre of Bad Homburg, near Frankfurt.

I recall enjoying these.

Am sort of collecting door handles.

Have not yet uploaded the collection.

These went up as a sort of visual rhyme with the howler monkeys.

Used by the British Armed Forces during World War Two the Bedford MW was a 15cwt 4x2 General Purpose Truck, powered by a Bedford 72bhp six-cylinder inline 3.5L petrol Engine through a four speed Transmission. Despite lacking four wheel drive and so being unsuitable for Off-Road use, the MW's powerful Engine, short wheel base, low centre of gravity and relatively light weight gave it excellent acceleration and almost sports car like handling. The early MWs were Oopen Cabbed with a Folding Windscreen and a Collapsible Canvas Tilt, from 1943 an Enclosed Cab with Doors and Perspex Side Screens was added, retaining the Canvas Top. The vehicle had a distinctive 'Wide Bonnet' necessitated by the need to accommodate a special extra large air filter that was never fitted to production vehicles.

In 1935 the War Office issued specifications for a new 15cwt 4x2 Military Truck for service with the British Army, inviting manufacturers to submit designs to take part in annual comparative trials in north Wales, one entrant was a modification of a Bedford Vehicles 2-ton rear wheel drive lorry. Following these trials Bedford fitted a larger radiator and larger tyres, the trials were repeated in 1936 after which Bedford modified the chassis to increase ground clearance and installed a new engine cooling system. For the 1937 trials a new special Bedford WD-1 Prototype was produced with a 15cwt payload, it performed admirably and in 1938 the eventual 72bhp Engine was installed. Between 1939 and 1945 Bedford produced over 66,000 MW's, the vehicles remained in British service until the late 1950's.

The Bedford MW was intended mainly to be a workhorse for the British Army's Infantry Battalions, but throughout World War Two it was adapted to a number of roles and was eventually also used by the Royal Air Force, Royal Navy, other Government Departments and some overseas customers.

More foam wrapped in Worbla forms the bottom of the handle

On my way to Isle of Skye in 2008 I visited a charming village of Plockton. This handle is one of the reasons why it is that charming :)

This picture was taken in the Summer of 1977 with a Kodak Handle instant camera I bought specifically for a trip back to my old home town of Safford, Arizona. I had moved away in 1974, and this was my family's one and only visit (so far) back to our old home town. (Although my Mom got to go out there by herself with some friends in 1984.)

The picture itself is just one I pointed straight up and shot the sky above me. I was standing in the driveway of our ex-neighbor's and friend's house, Joe and Lily Urrea, located one house down from where we used to live on 15th Street. Sadly, Joe passed away several years back, but Lily just celebrated her 80th birthday last week.

Scanned this week, the picture is really starting to show it's age!

We have a friend who is a retired chemist. He makes wine in his basement. This is a little of his orange rhubarb wine. When the wine is all gone we give him back the empty bottle and he gives us a full bottle. Here I am, making an empty.
