Bring back handcrafted decorations! These charming decorations in a local coffee outlet were made by a member of staff. They are adorable.
bringing color to the hallway with my 'scary pink' never ending can of paint, thrifted yarn from last week in 'super duper' bright colors and a few randomly placed doilies (suprise, suprise)...
the doors in hallway are now a fabby gloss chartreuse, and i have a few more things to paint before the transformation is complete...
Trees behind my house at dusk. Working on learning to use my digital camera, and was playing around.
A certain drawing inspired me to try a Cardinal. The stitches aren't very even, but I was going for a primitive look anyway. Yeah, that's what it was!

Made for Johanna in the US. I've made three with this green Gothick scheme now - but I try to make every piece unique and never make two pieces identical. To commission a 'shelf room' please visit www.timsidford.com.
This was my attempt to make a Shootsac Cover. I always make my own stuff to set myself apart from the crowd. I've made my own yoga mat bags, baby slings, camera straps and now my Shootsac cover.
I got this one completed during my son's 2.5 hour nap. That includes trying to figure out the pattern, cutting it out, sewing, breaking a needle and attaching the velcro. In all I spet $8.98 on the fabric and velcro. I could probably get 3 covers out of the .5 of the yard I bought.
I am planning on making a cover with a flap that will also go over the other side of the Shootsac. I've heard from some people that the neoprene material can ruin your clothes so I would be nice to have a flap that covered those pockets as well. I was also thinking about adding a zippered pocket to the front flap that could carry a pen and some business cards. I will need to piece that together and will take some additional time to think of the pattern.
I love my Shootsac and will probably buy some of their covers when I fall in love with one. But it gives me true satisfaction that I can have something unique that I made myself.
this is what I demo'd in the jewelry basic design class
