bringing color to the hallway with my 'scary pink' never ending can of paint, thrifted yarn from last week in 'super duper' bright colors and a few randomly placed doilies (suprise, suprise)...
the doors in hallway are now a fabby gloss chartreuse, and i have a few more things to paint before the transformation is complete...
this blanket carries some degree of success and some degrees of not so.
one 'not so' being, it was supposed to be the english flag.
however due to 'crappity crap repetitive' issues with Mrs Hook and i,
for now it will remain as it is...
a 'positively positive' blanket of the utmost kind :)
Pecan is the oldest and wisest of the Pecanpals. He is a master storyteller, often spending entire afternoons sitting under a tall palm tree, reading. Cecilia was inspired by the Simon and Garfunkel song. The beadwoven bracelet is made with copper bugles and copper colored seed beads woven to hold squares of blue (indicolite)Swarovski crystals. The bracelet measures approximately 6 and 3/4 inches (17cm) long. The closure is a beaded bead with loop.

Cecilia must be a beautiful girl for this young man to be so in love with her that he will want her no matter what she does! While the lyrics of the song are somewhat dark, the music and essence of the song are upbeat and inspirational. The color combination of my bracelet reflects this; whereas, the woven part of the bracelet indicates the tangled up web of Cecilia.
