This is where the slope is finished from there they will come back and brick up the sides. It's going to be pretty deep.

If you notice the houses in the background those are the same ones I mentioned when I took pics of the area long before they started this improvement project.

I don't envy any of these guys and I don't think I would want to fight any of them either.

It rained pretty heavy recently and added a lot of water that has to be pimped out again.

The most recent pics taken you can still see those houses in the background where the men are breaking the rocks. What a difference.

This is what the canal looked like before they got heavy into their work. It wasn't incredibly deep or pretty.

Hidden high in a secluded corner In the garden-area of the cathedral, the man in charge of all these beautiful walls, busts and railings left a cartoony little image of himself at work.
