Indian Air Force. Farnborough 2008

The photographer that appears to be looking at his hand in this photo is a very dear friend of mine and my wife's. He unexpectedly Passed away yesterday. Rest in Peace. (I don't care that this photo is not perfect or level. It's only about the guy with the Camera)

The camera I used was the Pentax K1000 shooting CineStill 800T 35MM film.

I shot this film at ISO 400.

It was Hal's job to hold up the yellow pole! :)

Hal Sparks and friend

Our haul from Hal-Con 2011. My wife also got a Kill Shakespeare T-Shirt and some of her own artwork signed by the model she shot with while we were there Drakaina Muse, who she will work with again with my involvement hopefully.

at the time of filming 2001 there were no computer graphics available to create some of the effects we see on HAL's computer screens, so in order to simulate the 'wireframe' graphic of the AE-35 antenna an actual wireframe model had to be constructed and painted with a highly reflective white paint, then shot in stop motion and then processed with a high contrast to simulate the 'wireframe' graphic we see in the movie (see photo of Doug Trumbull creating the wireframe model).
