Update: They tore down the sign and threw the letters in a dumpster. They were too mangled to save. What a shame.

Ploumanac’h es una de las localidades costeras más famosas de las Costas de Armor por sus peñascos de granito rosa. Se trata de imponentes concreciones de piedra esculpidas por el mar y el viento que ofrecen al visitante una visión casi irreal. Es un paraje natural de excepcional belleza.

Entre las playas de Trestraou y de Saint-Guirec, los imponentes acantilados de granito rosa de Ploumanac’h son mundialmente conocidos. Se estima que se formaron hace 300 millones de años y se extienden a lo largo de más de 25 hectáreas. Han sido clasificados patrimonio nacional francés y son propiedad del Conservatorio del Litoral. Los acantilados reciben cada año más de un millón de visitantes y, sin duda, es una etapa imprescindible de Bretaña.
