Buddy Guy è uno dei più importanti esponenti del blues americano. Figura di spicco del genere ne è, insieme a B.B. King, uno dei capistipite. Ricevette la sua prima chitarra all'età di diciassette anni (oggi custodita al Rock and Roll Hall of Fame di Cleveland).
Dopo aver vissuto fino all'età di 21 anni in Lousiana, un suo amico cuoco a Chicago lo convinse a lasciare il lavoro che aveva come custode all'università per spostarsi a Chicago e intraprendere la carriera di musicista blues. Il 25 settembre 1957 Buddy Guy arrivò a Chicago e iniziò la propria lunga carriera.

i watched this guy for quite some time. he KNEW how to skate. he had his own skates and he just skated around the rink, over and over. he crossed his feet over and back, and sometimes looked like he was almost going to do a jump, and then didn't.
i really wanted to see him do a jump. but it was really nice just watch someone who knew how to skate leisurely skate around, enjoying themselves.
The peeler guy has a huge audience in Herald Square. You know this guy, he's the one with the British accent who's usually down in Union Square making piles of shredded carrots.

Went to an incredible show last night: Guy Clark, Joe Ely, John Hiatt and Lyle Lovett. Three hours of great music with nice people.
These two hand made guys are the nearest so far to what i had as a child. They stand 23'' tall, and although not made of felt (mixed fabrics!), have the same style outfit (coat with tails) as my original golly had! These guys were found in a loft after 40 years, so have survived well, matbe dating back to the late 60's early 70's? I did have to do some repair work to the natuarl fibres because of extensive month damage! The repairs took me 6 hours, so these guys must have taken a long time to create! They look great now though! :O)
