Outside the two touristic main squares that I avoided, San Gimignano is a really quiet peaceful place as you probably understand by now.
Somewhere in the middle of the town I caught this guy snoozing on one of the 3 wells in the city. To be honest I still feel sleepy too. But alas, duty calls.
Hopefully you are not getting tired of my Tuscany photos yet. And if you do... Well, brace yourself. I only have about 385 more. *giggles*
Hihihihi...
I saw Guy while he was waiting to take a client back from a doctor's appointment. I approached him as if I once knew him asking, "What was your name'?
The conversation quickly took off from there, he was very easy to speak to.
Guy worked as a Teamster so his current job is right up his alley. He showed off his Korean War wounds, including frostbite and some scars on his leg that were associated with a landmine. He wishes that the government just showed a little more appreciation for his service.
Guy has 52 years of marriage under his belt...to 4 different women.

Been moored here for a couple of days and woke up this morning to a frosty white world and a frozen canal.
What a beautiful morning!!
