This was the guy that really caught my eye. What a gorgeous smile and sexy freckles and he had the most incredible accent that I've ever heard... it was Spanish with an almost Irish lilt to it. I kept coming up with all sorts of stupid idle chit chat to say to him just to hear him talk. Unfortunately, he was too shy to look at the camera and this was the best pic of him that I got.

Cummins powered Guy Big J4T artic of hauliers, E.J Bennett & Sons Ltd from Frome. Shortly afterwards they merged with Viney's of Bruton to form Viney-Bennett's which were absorbed by Nuttalls, then Renwicks and vanished from the haulage scene forever.
Day 196--starring us!!! Our favorite engagement shot! We got to sleep in at the hotel today, which was super nice. We had a relaxing day together. We even saw "The Other Guys" (which is HILARIOUS by the way) before picking up the boys. I was too busy enjoying the day to take a shot. I feel kinda guilty but not really. Oh well. Tomorrow is back to reality (as in work). :(

On the left is the most prolific model produced, an East Lancs Myllennium Nordic, produced well into double figures.
The right hand model is arguably the most complex conversion undertaken, again a Nordic, but this time the original left hand drive prototype e made by East Lancs for Copenhagen. Although the SRM (Short New Routemaster) conversion could also claim the complex title!
Whilst things have (hopefully!) improved over time, the old Guy sits quite happily alongside.
