Among other things, a number of the heavily funded BigMoneySF political pressure groups proliferating in San Francisco may begin going his way. These outfits are largely bankrolled by wealthy businessmen and VCs, and Farrell is one of their own. The 501(c)(4) TogetherSF Action is run by Farrell’s former staffers, and has been — only somewhat humorously — referred to as the Farrell Administration in Exile. Farrell’s wife serves on the board of directors of the 501(c)(3) TogetherSF.

506004 unit lead hybrid 506008/6 into Guide Bridge station, with a Piccadilly to Hadfield non stop fair well run. Does any one know the date? Note they are on the opposite side of the station to the platforms in use today. The platforms were switched over shortly afterwards. Offices are now being built on this part of the track bed, a short sighted, blinkered move that will prevent the much needed four tracks being put back in place.

"The motor coach of '08 unit had previously been withdrawn, and the remaining two coaches of '08 set were coupled to the undamaged motor coach from '06 set. Unlike the more recent hybrid, the '6' on the motor coach end and the bodysides was crudely changed to an '8'. What made it more noticeable was the fact that '08 set was never repainted in blue/white livery and so two-thirds of the unit was blue and one third blue/white."
