This page includes details for the opening ceremonies on the second and third days of the bazaar (Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th October 1923). The second day was opened by Sir Berkeley Moynihan, with proceedings chaired by Captain R. V. Marriner. The third day was opened by Sir Henry Whitehead, with proceedings chaired by Henry S. Clough.
The 92-page booklet was loaned to the History Society by Tim Neal in 2025.

Very brave lady, she has to ride this motorbike from Lao Cai back to SAPA for more than one hour in the darkness.
Another cruise ship has disgorged its contents of (largely) American tourists into Corso Umberto, like sausage meat being forced into sausage skins. These people hollering above the din try and retain some sort of order. (Admittedly, they aren't all American.)
