Nelson, our guide, pulls us down the Caves Branch River after exiting the caves. Fun story about Nelson: he was one of a small group of Belizeans with Mayan ancestry who helped bring back the ancient Mayan ballgame "Pok Ta Pok" - he competed in tournaments around Central America.

Johnny was our lead guide. He scouted for danger and brought us to the safest routes down.
Typically, he would ski down and say to ski just to the right (or left) of his track only. This would keep you in the safest zone and preserve some powder for future back country skiers.
