A pair of new ALC-42s lead Amtrak train 7 in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, on their way to Seattle. The Boreal Chickadee usually keeps to the northern forests of Ontario and hides deep in the fir trees. However, this guy made a guest appearance in the forests a bit further south of his comfortable habitat. We were lucky enough to observe him on the day we visited the park. Happy Wing Wednesday!
