This is grumpy two-year-old me with my mom on Bodhi Day 1996. (The Christmas tree in the background was no doubt a careless mistake on the part of the church planning committee.)
Somehow the jumper just doesn't look happy, I guess having a super bright flash blinding your 6 eyes would make you grumpy too. Never could get this one to look at the lens which was a first.

with Frank at Boise Schools Ecology classes February 12, 2015. Another a series of pictures taken today by class students. "Grumpy" is a Banded Gila monster (Heloderma suspectum cinctum). Unfortunately some of the pictures are blurred as we discovered after the classes finished that the camera lens had a water spot on it from a recent rainstorm. "Little Guy," a Great Basin rattlesnake (Crotalus oreganus lutosus) is in the secure enclosure in the foreground.
was fortunate enough to get very close to this beautiful "Little Owl" - they are no more that 20cm tall and appear to be very grumpy - although that is more likely due to the pronounced eyebrows!
Manny and Grumpy! At first Grumpy was rude to Manny, but Manny took it all with a grin on his face! Eventually Grumpy apologized! Hehehe!

she was rather enjoying having water sprayed on her, cooling her off in the "summer heat" (of course that doesn't exist in Scotland)
My Special Lady had this demitasse picked up for me from Grumpy's --- had to bring it to work today to christen it. I did this with a single origen Brazil. >>> peanut butter & grape jelly on whole wheat honey bread, with unsalted french butter on top. Sooo good! Love the cups Grumpy's.

I am not too into the whole "street" photography, or taking pictures of people in general. But when you go into Grumpy's for a burger and you see the most motley crew ever sitting at the bar, you just have to sneak a photo or two. This was at 10 a.m. on a saturday. Nothing beats some burgers, fried in lard, after a good morning of shooting guns. God Bless Garfield Washington.

So, I have a couple beers at Grumpy's one night, then the next time I look at my camera, I have these photos.
getting ticked at me for taking so many pictures ... but he's happy that we let him come outside for a bit.
