You'd be grumpy too, if somebody woke you up to show everybody your tail! That naked strip on their tails helps them hang on to branches.
Pasha is losing a lot of his baby feathers and getting his new ones. That means a LOT of pin feathers, which make him a big Grumpy Gus :( He still loves to cuddle and snuggle though.

This male was a bit grumpy when we found him. He had been searching for the lionesses of one of his pride but I think they had been giving him the run around! He did eventually find the pride and seemed a bit happier.
I spent a lot of time photographing this sea gull. He got a bit cranky with me by the end. I seem to have that effect on animals.

I noticed this little face looking at me from a shelf the other day. It's a palm tree date that dried out in the garage. It just looks to me as if it has a 'grumpy old man' face :)
I was digging in the photo archives for a shot that fit my mood today and I found one. This is my Montana cat, looking grumpy for whatever reason, and his eyes are glowing besides!
I spent much of the afternoon on the phone with HP tech support for my new (3 months old) computer, only to finally learn that the hard drive went kaput. That computer has been my photo workhorse for three months, since the old one has struggles with space and speed.
The good thing is the computer is still under warranty. The bad thing is the data cannot be recovered. Fortunately, I THINK I have all, or at least nearly all of it backed up (so long as my external hard drive doesn't decide to go kaput too). Grrrr ... time will tell. The replacement drive should be here Friday and I will probably spend the weekend trying to restore and organize my computer files.
