Whenever I slice a banana in Malaysia, I see a smiley face like the one below. I tried it with a banana in Australia and this is what I got.

Aries decided that if I could be grumpy this morning, he could too. This is his classic grump face. The sound that goes with it is a sort of mid range err rah

I changed my normal weekend hike to concentrate less on climbing hills and trekking through the woods to go towards the bay and walk amongst the crowds of birds and people. I had an itch to get some pictures of wildlife so that I would get better aquainted with using my camera to get quick shots before the holidays started.
The closest location for wildlife is right outside the window, but waiting for crows at a dumpster isn't very fun, so I went to the Shoreline Park. I brought my smc P-K 200mm F2.5 lens, since I've really not had a good chance to explore what this lens can do, and getting pictures of birds seemed like a good test.
This bird has a classic sour expression, leading me to give it this title.

Grumpy spits out his dummy at being made to take part in the Dreams Come True parade at the Magic Kingdom.
Somehow the jumper just doesn't look happy, I guess having a super bright flash blinding your 6 eyes would make you grumpy too. Never could get this one to look at the lens which was a first.

Look at moody little me sitting on my Mum's lap! This was taken at my new sister's christening party in early 1977.
with Frank at Boise Schools Ecology classes February 12, 2015. Another a series of pictures taken today by class students. "Grumpy" is a Banded Gila monster (Heloderma suspectum cinctum). Unfortunately some of the pictures are blurred as we discovered after the classes finished that the camera lens had a water spot on it from a recent rainstorm. "Little Guy," a Great Basin rattlesnake (Crotalus oreganus lutosus) is in the secure enclosure in the foreground.
was fortunate enough to get very close to this beautiful "Little Owl" - they are no more that 20cm tall and appear to be very grumpy - although that is more likely due to the pronounced eyebrows!
Manny and Grumpy! At first Grumpy was rude to Manny, but Manny took it all with a grin on his face! Eventually Grumpy apologized! Hehehe!
Hope you don't mind another picture of him. Gila monsters descended from ancient lizards called "monstersauria." "Grumpy" is a Banded Gila monster (Heloderma suspectum cinctum). Photo by Frank
Grey herons just do not like getting up close and personal with humans. This chap was very wary of me as I moved closer to the eye of Fermoy bridge - that was when I noticed he was standing on one leg. Copyright © Bill Power. All rights reserved.
She wasn't grumpy really
she was rather enjoying having water sprayed on her, cooling her off in the "summer heat" (of course that doesn't exist in Scotland)
