grumpy didn't understand what all the fuss was about this morning when i was trying to find something green to wear. i tried to explain st. patrick's day to him but he didn't seem convinced. when i showed him the little hat that i got him he was willing to play along.
* i gave j his choice of which to use for the official 365 day shot and he chose the other one
A toekoenari fish, caught in the Brokopondo lake in Suriname. It looks a bit grumpy with its present status?
If that coach on the other team says one more thing to me I'm gonna kick his ASS! Its all in the look cause this is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet.
my 5 yr-old has decided the groundhog living under our storage shed is female and named "LUCY." she was just chewing here, but it looks like she's complaining and it cracks me up.
I had to play the grumpy old man next door yesterday. I had to tell my neighbors' kids they couldn't ride their power wheels through my yard. Bah!!
Went to my grandparents house last weekend. My grandfather makes so much cool art and sculptures, I just had to take a picture of them to keep as inspiration. I love his Troll lamps, and I think this grumpy looking one is my favorite. He is not at all pleased to have this granny lampshade as a hat. :)
14 inch plush Grumpy Bear, with poseable and mini figures. This bear is a pessimist, but it can't rain all the time. I love him anyway!
One of southern Australia's most exotic fishes is the South Blue Devil. Even though they are quite common on along the greater Adelaide coastline I still experience great delight when ever I come across one on a dive.
Firstly let me say they are the grumpiest looking fish I know! Juxtaposed with that scowling face is the most amazing iridescent blue and flowing body. Combined it creates a uniqueness uncommon in fishes of South Australia.
Grumpy, gorgeous, exotic and local. I am happy to dive with these guys any time.
exploring. There was an abrubt change in weather and atmospheric pressure today and many of the animals are restless. "Grumpy" is a banded Gila monster (Heloderma suspectum cinctum), a native of Arizona who was illegally brought into Idaho ten years ago when he was a juvenile. Heloderma means "nail studs" after the bumpy scales. His skull actually has the same bumps under his skin. Gila monsters are one of two (beaded lizards) venomous lizards out of the 3800 species of lizards in the world. "Grumpy" is way cool! I'm lucky to have had him entrusted to my care. Photo by Frank
