I expect not to keen on my camera today or it might have been my after shave, do they still sell old spice! :-)
The largest and most ferocious owl in the world. They have a Deep two tone hoot. A wild Eagle Owl can live for 20 years &Double in captivity. A wild eagle owl was once seen carrying a Red fox in it’s talons!
Many large owls and eagles have enough crushing power in their feet to burst a tennis ball (even without the sharp talons).
Because owls have such sensitive ears they have a flap of skin, which covers the ear opening when things get too loud.
The largest item of prey recorded being taken by an Eagle Owl is a Roe Deer weighing 13kg! An awesome feat. Can you imagine tackling something the size of a horse for your dinner??
I suppose the owner of the coffee cart just got caught at the wrong time in this photo :). I wonder if the ladies are regulars?
President Business isn't happy that someone could possibly be more grumpy than him. Besides Lego head is bigger, so he wins!
This cheetah was looking quite grumpy on the picture, but actually, this is often the case. Anyway, they are pretty!
So, a few people in the office made up a poster of all the Mr Men and Little Miss characters, stuck it up in the office kitchen and assigned names for everyone.
I embraced mine... fighting these things never works.
I then pointed out to my team that they had now been in the kitchen for half an hour and, when they finish the giggle-fest, some actual work would be nice.

These guys do look so very complainey (zoom in to see the entitled complainey grumpiness on the faces) - i'd really hate to be their waiter!

Today Morris is 12 Weeks old but today was also his first trip to the vet......I don't think he was Impressed!!

I got a few questions about Cricket at the book fair today. Some probably thought I was advertising a new book, understandable, others could not place who Nome and her ill fated dog were.
This fairly large jumping spider (female?) was hanging out on my deck. She seemed a bit grumpy with me poking around trying to lean over the deck railing to snap pictures as it tried to find a safe spot under the top of the rail. I understand. I've been grumpy that I haven't been able to find more time to take pictures, and have nearly completely missed out on Arachtober this year. There's always next october...
probably my favourite cat in the world, grumpy cat.
it always makes me happy to walk past him sitting outside his house. he always feels like he needs a wash, has a permanent sneer, has a pathetic meow, & drools when you pet him (if he lets you pet him. although in saying that, sometimes he will crawl onto your lap, regardless of whether you want him to or not).
he's so ace.
