Something about this moth-perhaps the appearance of heavy, furrowed brows- makes it appear quite grumpy. Of course, it could be the fact that some lady is pointing a camera at it when it is trying to rest. Love the fancy "tuft" atop its head/back. Definitely gives it the appearance of tree bark.
Fynn is grumpy as he hasn't been allowed out much recently. Yesterday I was away all day and all cats had to stay indoors. Both Fynn and Linus have been far too successful as bird hunters recently and there are too many young and unexperienced birds around at the moment. Today it's rainy and as I want Fynn to keep is curls dry he has to stay at home too. Better for his health but sooo unfair !
2nd batch of 2 kittens my sis picked up. This was taken over the weekend, about a month?
Eyes still a little milky...
I406-25 crosses the back waters of Ashepoo River near Ashepoo, SC on Aug 26, 2016. I almost had a run in with a grumpy neighbor here. But that's a tale for another day.

The reverse side of my activity tracking watch. The face jumped out at me when I went to charge the watch one day.

Today's weather. I have upload so many images from this place with beautiful sunset but today it's a bit grumpy weather.
I spotted this large Black Bear at the top of the Allison Pass in the works yard for the highway. It was quite a distance away but I could hear it grunting and growling. It's teeth do not look too good, perhaps it is old or got into a fight but it was not in a good mood
This sullen looking little egret was hunkered down in the vegetation on the shore of the Wakulla River.

If you take a closer look, you will find one or more faces here ;-). The one I saw immediately, and which made me take this capture,
is that of a grumpy man in profile. I love gnarly old trees, they are beautiful in any season. Here the fresh leaves add a nice splash of colour to "his face". The phenomenon of seeing faces in things is called "pareidolia" (Wikipedia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pareidolia ), something that I learned here on Flickr. To find faces or shapes of things in clouds or trees is fun and always makes me smile.
Have a beautiful weekend, dear Flickr friends!
Thank you very much for your comments and faves, I highly appreciate them ;-)

Waiting on me providing breakfast...! Normally I love hearing them outside my window however, my constant migraines cause my senses to go into overdrive. Sounds are magnified smells are stronger and light... ouch! Some days I want to shoot them other days I also want to shoot them...but with my camera 😂... love them really. (When they’re asleep) 😉xx
