There were nine ducklings in this family. Now there are three...but they seem to be more watchful of the snapping turtles that have decimated their siblings.

I finally figured out the correct evolutionary path to finish Grow Island. Thanks to Bryan for posting this on his blog.

My mom had a tomatoe in her basket that they had forgotten about and it started to sprout babies right out of the tomatoe. I've never seen this before. Ihe lumps on the surface are the other seedlings trying to make it out of the skins...so so neat to see...t

we were at a zoo and there was this pink flower growing out of the brick wall. very strange.

The baby is growing fast. Just a few of the baby feathers let on the top the of the head. It is hard to think that this ugle baby bird, is going to be a Majestic Eagle.. Will go back in few days. Only seen just one. Look at the beaks of parent and the baby... that is neat...
