Suffered a few blemishes on my bag to get this shot as I had to go quite a bit off trail to find the source of the tantalizing water sound. Worth it? You tell me.

Jose Alegado reachs the Peak with a big smile. He and 2 of his kids ran from Ambleside Beach up Capilano to the base of Grouse Mt., then up the Grouse Grind and to the top of the peak of Grouse Mt. A short run back down to the Peak Chalet and they were done.

Whilst in Vancouver for work, I had a single day to fill as I wished. So I purchased myself a colourful new pair of running shoes and set off up the Grouse Grind at a pace that was far from running. I was also in Corduroy shorts so that's my excuse. The views over Vancouver were quite spectacular and I grabbed some food and stayed until it began to get chilly. I could have stayed much longer, it was a lovely place to be.
