I found this photo in a trash pile while walking my dogs today - the frame was all busted and it was on top of abox for bulk trash collection. I rescued it - I love old photos and this one is great. It has a little damage but is a great group shot - I figre early 1900's by the dress and hats (kids in knickers) - the bike must have been a great status symbol.

I wanted to do a photo that shows my friends and how they are. This photo shows the type of personalities they have. :P I had Sindri, Destiny, and Anthony be my models and had them put there face up against glass and I took the photo from the other side. When I thought of the idea it wasn’t exactly what I had in mind (sooo much harer to take a portrait of other people then yourself!) but I really like how it turned out with the whole ghostly look too it.

Here we are in my kitchen in Tucker. Bob and Bridget are getting married. They got married by a Justice of the Peace or a judge. We didn't go as we weren't invited. We did, however attend the reception at the Piedmont Driving Club. It occurs to me that Dad was a good looking man, and some of Bridgett's mother's friends were flirting with him. To me he just looked tired. I don't think he had ever been to my house before. He never visited again either, although his second home carried him right through Atlanta and past my door many times a year. I would pretend I didn't care. But I always really did. I thought that being rejected by a parent would be less painful with time but that hasn't proven to be true.
“There is nothing more touching to me then a family picture where everyone is trying to look his or her best, but you can see what a mess they all really are.”
