I love tweens. They are so much fun; they love to pose and wear fun clothes, yet they have that innocence that makes playing with them so much fun!
We used a 70's-inspired piece of fabric and a very groovy vest.

2019 marks the 60 year anniversary of the Witefish Winter Carnival in Whitefish, Montana This nordic themed festival one of the highlights of winter in this ski town. This year is also the 50th anniversary of Wioodstock, the 1969 iconic music festival. This year’s Winter Carnival was a salute to Woodstock. Besides the normal viking costumes, there were plenty folks dressed in tiedye and vintage clithes from 1969. Peace!
A closeup look at the grooving left behind on SR 518 near SeaTac.
To get this effect, we grind the pavement. It reduces the bumps and provides better traction.
This work is part of the SR 518 concrete panel and replacement project.
This 1977 Volkeswagen 1570cc looks to be a long way from the surf and palm trees depicted on it's grubby flanks. The vehicle is parked up in a side street in Birmingham, the only Surf we see is on a soap powder box.

Flamin’ Groovies, ‘Teenage Head’, 1971. Great name, great band. From San Francisco. On the Kame Sutra label. Yeah. If you like early 70s Stones, you’ll love this. It could be outtakes from some lost Stones album. Blues, rock, bit of country, boogie. The vocals even sound like Mick and Keef. ‘High Flyin’ Baby’ is sloppy slide, handclaps, louche vocal. Dirty. ‘City Lights’ slow slide, busted piano, weary country blues. ‘Have You Seen My Baby’ like the New York Dolls playing the Stones, all fat riff and boogie. ‘Yesterday’s Numbers’ dirty strummin’. It sounds like a lost Stones classic. ‘Teenage Head’ is a filthy riff with harp blowing and great lyrics. A truly great soiled classic. Worth the price of admission. San Francisco was still Hippy Central then. These guys sound like Punk in comparison. ’32-20’ is down home blues pickin’ and slide. ‘Evil Hearted Ada’ is ‘Mystery Train’ rockabilly with Elvis echo hiccup. ‘Doctor Boogie’ handclaps and shuffle. ‘Whiskey Woman’ lurching slow country blues.
It’s a wonder the Stones didn’t sue them.
This image contains 6 unique qparts.
One of my most recent fascinations is finding non-production elements with minute differences. In this case, the parts on the left have a groove while the ones on the right do not, yet none of these elements have ever been released in a set. While it is not uncommon for a released part to have a qpart sibling with a slightly different mold, finding two qpart siblings is (in my opinion) extraordinarily rare. 5 of the parts in the image came from the same seller -- the most surprising thing (to me at least) was that the Red hinges were all listed as 44567a [with groove], so I technically received an incorrect item! (I purchased four).
The colors from top-to-bottom are Red, Nougat, Light Nougat.
The 1x2 jumper might be my new favorite part to collect, and I'm trying to find out if other qpart 'siblings' exist for this part, I think some transparent pairs might exist as well, but I haven't confirmed that yet. None of these parts are 15573.
Thanks for reading this extremely mundane post :^)
Matheus Strikes Again.
Num domingo na casa da mamãe pedi pro meu sobrinho fazer uma pose....mas com os óculos da Tia Carol!
Pense numa figurinha cheia de presepada!
In a family reunion at mom's house I asked for my nephew to do a pose.... but with Aunt Carol's glasses!
Think about a funny child!!!!!!!!!
Corporation Street Birmingham, sculpture painted by Caroline Daly. More bears to follow…I’ll slot them in with lots of other new stuff!
Decided to do some Strobist photography. 430EX-II 1/2 power above subject, gelled blue. YinYan 1/16 power as sidelight, gelled red and snooted.
My friend left me his LED lights and many gels and as you can see, I've been busy. Tonight was frustrating for many reasons but I actually like how this turned out.
Shot at my favorite Classic Car dealership. The GTO Judge was everything a muscle car should be. Outside of a Shelby this would be my first dream car purchase, just need a couple of million $ to get started...
