We've had shelves like these for years and used them in our shop. When we sold our shop the shelves went, too. We built new ones this week.
This nearly 40 year old Wendy's surely had the yellow building signage, and decorative beads hanging in the lobby at one time! Wendy's is on the verge of moderinizing it's image these days, so I try to photograph all of them I can before any of them get changed.
UPDATE: Bradley_Memphis took some photos of the interior of this Wendy's starting with this one.

This Polaroid of the the Groovy Automotive sign on North Lamar in Austin, Texas was taken on July 27, 2008.
I've got no deeds to do,
No promises to keep.
I'm dappled and drowsy and ready to sleep.
Let the morning time drop all its petals on me.
Life, I love you,
All is groovy.
(Extract from "The 59th Street Bridge Song (Feelin' Groovy)" by Simon And Garfunkel, 1966)
My first job was at Southdale Cinema in Edina, MN, a fun mid-century theater that was built in 1966. I was working the last night it was open, August 16, 1990, and these are some pictures I took that night. The next day we had this horrible parade where the employees marched to the new theater, Centennial Lakes. Nothing like marching through a suburb in polyester uniforms.
The Galleria mall expanded to this space after it was torn down.
The final quality films that played:
Die Harder
Air America
Arachnaphobia
Ducktales
Pretty Woman
Ok... I guess I did see three of those...possibly more than once...but they were free.
On a winters day, walking past the groovy flower shop, I noticed these very Aussie floral arrangements... G'day mate!

this is made from the free pattern from Dolls Ahoy. The fabric was given to me by a friend - yards & yards of the stuff, lol!

Me estressei tentando acertar as cores e os desenhos e fiquei irritada.
Haja Bepantol. ¬¬
Came across this album while our vintage shopping with the girls today (I'm the chauffeur), but it was in too sorry a shape to purchase. Harpers Bizzare's debut album, Feelin' Groovy had their only hit; a cover of Simon & Garfunkel's "59th Street Bridge Song"
Here's the original, with a Jim Marshall photo of the group. As with many of my pics, this one has been on The Pile for awhile, so this is the closest I could come up with: i.ebayimg.com/images/g/FfsAAOSw~yFiPfnU/s-l1600.jpg
