A different view of a rock's track in the "Racetrack" in Death Valley. Here the rock is sailing away from us and is the very light colored rock near the upper right. The apparently small (but not really so small) stand of dark brown rocks at the top of the tan playa is called the "Grandstand" ... for the racetrack, get it?

A late afternoon trip to the beach, and what wonderful weather to enjoy the shores of North Berwick. As i have not been out taking photos in a while it was good to reacquaint myself with the technology. Met some lovely people too. Wishing a nice week ahead to you all.

Developed a rol of Kodacolor II left in an old camera i bought a few years back, scanned it with my Canoscan 8800f. Just one frame was on it.

I think it's an 70's Opel Ascona, behind it is a Honda from the late 80's early 90's, on the background is a Citroën 2CV and on the right i don't know... maybe a Ford Capri?

The Flamin' Groovies is an American rock music band whose peak was in the 1960s and 1970s. They began in San Francisco in 1965, founded by Ron Greco, Cyril Jordan and Roy Loney. They are perhaps best known for their song "Shake Some Action", a cover version by American band Cracker was later featured in the 1995 movie Clueless. The group have been called one of the forerunners of punk rock, and they also had a major influence on the power pop genre

"Pop-Tarts?!? Groovy, dude!!"

That was the response when James opened his breakfast this morning. I never realized that Pop Tarts would be received with such unbridled enthusiasm, but maybe I've forgotten the power of the Pop.

I told James that I really liked his sunglasses, that they made him look like a celebrity. "These are the best sunglasses! You know? They was free!"

I get the feeling there may have been a little "imbibing" under the tracks last night (and this morning).

Super cool mod dresses by lemieuxdoll. Vestidos de lemieuxdoll.

That's what it says on the mug. A second multi-coloured top. Its a simple thin cotton blouse. This dressing is hard work and every girl needs a tea break

This turned out to be a gigantic king-sized afghan, extra-heavy because I used two strands of Simply Soft to work it. Not too heavy for summer, though, because the granny spaces allow nice ventilation! Actually finished sometime in April, just now photographing and posting.

Let's party like it's 1969...

One quick edit from today's fabulous shoot with Sandra!

Went to the Chinese New Year parade in DC today. Sad to say but the parade was a disappointment, as were any pictures I forced myself to take of the actual parade. Fortunately the people watching wasn't so bad!

One of O.B.'s icons.

Original digital art with Procreate 5 and the liquefy tool. “Way Too High,” “Groovy,” and “Then It All Melted” are different arrangements of the same Procreate file. Different Layers, different blends. “Way Too High” also got a little post-processing in Aquarella.

I don't have a deep artistic reason for this and I don't have a story.. just some groovy colours on the sky that I couldn't pass on... It's a tonemapped HDR image, but I am not agreeing with most of the rest of flickr on what a HDR is, so never mind that.. =)

I like to hear what you think. I love creative comments, I have no problem with negative such as long as it's somewhat constructive.

My sister her baby and I visited the Tulip festival outside of Woodburn Oregon. We picked our own tulips from the fields.

We had a great time =)

I took this from my phone and it did this to my photo.....=p
