Gotta Love this bubbly type from a 1978 Bell Telephone ad. Gee, it makes me want to reach out and touch someone. Come here, doggie! Let me pet you!
This shot was totally an accident, l was trying to do waves with the light, and when l saw the result, l said "what if l add a circle?" so here it is--
Again, there's almost no photoshop here, its all real with a 1.3 exposure.. l only used color correction, selective color and some other variations here...
A different view of a rock's track in the "Racetrack" in Death Valley. Here the rock is sailing away from us and is the very light colored rock near the upper right. The apparently small (but not really so small) stand of dark brown rocks at the top of the tan playa is called the "Grandstand" ... for the racetrack, get it?
The tunnel connecting the A and B concourses at DTW. I had heard plenty about this tunnel but this was the first time I'd seen it for myself.

Slow down, you move too fast.
You got to make the morning last.
Just kicking down the cobble stones.
Looking for fun and feelin' groovy.
Hello lamppost,
What cha knowing?
I've come to watch your flowers growing.
Ain't cha got no rhymes for me?
Doot-in' doo-doo,
Feelin' groovy.
Got no deeds to do,
No promises to keep.
I'm dappled and drowsy and ready to sleep.
Let the morning time drop all its petals on me.
Life, I love you,
All is groovy.
A late afternoon trip to the beach, and what wonderful weather to enjoy the shores of North Berwick. As i have not been out taking photos in a while it was good to reacquaint myself with the technology. Met some lovely people too. Wishing a nice week ahead to you all.
Developed a rol of Kodacolor II left in an old camera i bought a few years back, scanned it with my Canoscan 8800f. Just one frame was on it.
I think it's an 70's Opel Ascona, behind it is a Honda from the late 80's early 90's, on the background is a Citroën 2CV and on the right i don't know... maybe a Ford Capri?
The Flamin' Groovies is an American rock music band whose peak was in the 1960s and 1970s. They began in San Francisco in 1965, founded by Ron Greco, Cyril Jordan and Roy Loney. They are perhaps best known for their song "Shake Some Action", a cover version by American band Cracker was later featured in the 1995 movie Clueless. The group have been called one of the forerunners of punk rock, and they also had a major influence on the power pop genre
"Pop-Tarts?!? Groovy, dude!!"
That was the response when James opened his breakfast this morning. I never realized that Pop Tarts would be received with such unbridled enthusiasm, but maybe I've forgotten the power of the Pop.
I told James that I really liked his sunglasses, that they made him look like a celebrity. "These are the best sunglasses! You know? They was free!"
I get the feeling there may have been a little "imbibing" under the tracks last night (and this morning).
That's what it says on the mug. A second multi-coloured top. Its a simple thin cotton blouse. This dressing is hard work and every girl needs a tea break
