Taylor Studios designed and built the engaging exhibits at the Anita Purves Nature Center, for the Urbana Park District in Urbana, Illinois. The design of the nature center is inspired by Anita Purves, the local naturalist whom the center is named for. Taylor Studios transformed the center’s exhibit room into a multi-sensory interactive field station where the visitor becomes the scientist. Rustic themed exhibit furniture and props put the visitor at ease while custom interactives prompt visitors to solve problems concerning the natural world.
Here, an early sketch of the space shows the hands-on work stations and the changeable wall graphics displayed via a grid system that allows the content to always be fresh and new.
Limited edition of 50 letterpress prints featuring a calendar with the year printed in English, Italian, French and German. The 2010, the days of the week, and the edition number line are all printed blind. Type is set in Helvetica. All prints are numbered and signed.
The calendar size is 16.5" x 23.5" (A2) and printed on Crane Lettra Fluorescent White 110# (300gsm) paper.

In these three shots, we can see the reason for the added weight in Formula’s FAS³Techs. The first shows the reinforcing grid system suspended over the hull. In the center, the chemical bond is being placed onto the hull. And finally, the two parts are joined with the strength of one.

The Empire State Building is a 102-story Art Deco skyscraper in New York City at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and West 34th Street. It stood as the world's tallest building for more than forty years from its completion in 1931.

Citywide electric is a company with activity in New Zealand. The group is specialized in standard electrical services, Data Installations and Servicing, Television and Home Automation Installations, and a Switchboards and Controls Design & Build service. The visual identity is a redesign of the existing one and came out as need to the change of the company’s name. The identity features a clean and contemporary approach, that referenced and united the elements of the company. The exclusive use of typography adds value to that specific key elements of the company, which are trust and evolution, while the vivid form and different textures add diversity reflecting the multiple offered services of the company.

While wandering alone over the cyberspace, I accidently stumbled upon "The Grid System" and "Swiss Design."
Then I went on to read "Typographic Systems" by Kimberly Elam and "Grid systems in graphic design" by Josef Müller-Brockmann.
Then came the above.
