Limited edition of 50 letterpress prints featuring a calendar with the year printed in English, Italian, French and German. The 2010, the days of the week, and the edition number line are all printed blind. Type is set in Helvetica. All prints are numbered and signed.
The calendar size is 16.5" x 23.5" (A2) and printed on Crane Lettra Fluorescent White 110# (300gsm) paper.

This double-sided invitation is protected by a sliding bamboo case. One side features a custom illustration and the other establishes a grid system. Both are evocative of the Mi-zu Hotel brand. The layout lends itself to multiple applications.

this week a nice guy from japan asked to use one of my grid schemes to illustrate a graphic design dictionary, and that brought to my mind how much I like this monstruous organization structures, above you can see a 15px proportional grid for a website we're designing to one of our major clients, i really like this chaotic sense of organization that looking at a grid - without the actual design piece laid underneath it - evokes, also i'm sure as hell that most designers out there are completely disgusted by the idea of laying graphic elements on such restrictive way, but i can't find a way not to love it, at least so far.

Taylor Studios designed and built the engaging exhibits at the Anita Purves Nature Center, for the Urbana Park District in Urbana, Illinois. The design of the nature center is inspired by Anita Purves, the local naturalist whom the center is named for. Taylor Studios transformed the center’s exhibit room into a multi-sensory interactive field station where the visitor becomes the scientist. Rustic themed exhibit furniture and props put the visitor at ease while custom interactives prompt visitors to solve problems concerning the natural world.
At a central work station loaded with artifacts and “discovery drawers,” visitors use magnifying equipment to play the part of the naturalist. Surrounding them on the walls are changeable graphics displayed via a grid system that allows the content to always be fresh and new.
