As they say...."A slice of tender baked ham & two Poached eggs on top of our special seasoned Potato skins …. Covered in our incredible Hollandaise Sauce." This was Christian's breakfast on birthday celebration 2 of 4. Looks a little overwhelming, but I had a bite, and the ham was super-tasty.
Tea Service we have is pink (s/b yellow?), Shoes should be white t-strap. Brush/Comb should be blue.

I was really looking forward to this and had already made up my mind that I wanted potato pancakes (rather than crepe suzettes or lemon ricotta hot cakes). Bad choice. I guess their idea of potato pancakes and mine differ-these were big and not too tasty. I don't like regular pancakes very well and these were fairly similar.n Dennis had the President's Denver Omelet. He said the omelet was good but the hash browns were stringy and over done. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming but the service was not good. I think it was the waitress's first day. She brought coffee and then disappeared for quite some time They weren't very busy. When she showed up again, Dennis kiddingly said 'I thought you left.' I was almost done with my pancakes and reminded her that it should be served with bacon and applesauce and she readily agreed and trotted off and brought it back. Surprisingly, the bacon was still warm and just fine. The parking is very good. We'll still go back pretty soon for the crepes and the lemon ricotta hot cakes.
Improvised this based on having some leftover cornbread. Lamb arm chop stewed with tomatoes, onions, curry spices. Fabulous—sweet, fragrant, farmy, savory, heady… all the good things. A+
Don't worry about the Blue Moon neon in the window, this place is only open Monday-Friday from 5am-4pm. Sure, they do catering on the side but it's a lunch counter for the workers as of yet independent of the brunch crowd.
Their website has photos tracing the history of eating at this spot back to the 1930's. Up until 2013 half the space was used as a comics store.

I left the griddle on hot so they cooked a bit darker than I'd have preferred - with the ground turkey there generally isn't much fat in them to brown the pan so you do need to grease the pan you cook them in to keep them from sticking.

yummiest breakfast. the griddle in LA. if you're ever there, you NEED to try it. frosted flake pancakes? red velvet panCAKES? yummm.
I bought this brand new at Cracker Barrel. It covers two burners like my old griddle, but unlike my old griddle this one is real honest-to-goodness cast iron! (Don't let the photo fool you, this isn't as brown and rusty as it looks! I don't know why it turned out this way. It needs some seasoning, but it's perfectly useable right now.)
