Looking over Port Augusta from the Water Tank Tower Lookout, to a grey morning. On a clear day you would gave over the town, to the Flinders Ranges (as they are more than just what is at, and around Wilpena)
Here was my last change to get a Short-Bill-Corella in flight. After I took these shots, they didn't return.
about as high as you can go,on the top of warbla hill. the trig point, that's unless you want to climb the communications mast. the wind was so strong, the young poser almost had his jacket blown off. the view behind is the ewes valley, terrona, castle hill, and the rolling hills of the borders, and dumfriesshire. langholm, dumfriesshire, scotland.
Chartwell, Kent
Bought by Sir Winston Churchill for its magnificent views over the Weald of Kent, Chartwell was his home and the place from which he drew inspiration from 1924 until the end of his life. The rooms remain much as they were when he lived here, with pictures, books and personal mementoes evoking the career and wide-ranging interests of this great statesman. The hillside gardens reflect Churchill's love of the landscape and nature. They include the lakes he created, Lady Churchill's Rose Garden and the kitchen garden. Many of Churchill's paintings can be seen in the studio.

A yacht, 'Captain Amora', moored in Mosman Bay - Sydney harbour, New South Wales, Australia. Photographed with a Canon 60D as our ferry departed from the Mosman South wharf and headed out of Mosman Bay into the harbour, on its journey to Circular Quay in the city. We had boarded the ferry at Cremorne Point and went on a trip into Mosman Bay before going across the harbour to the city.

A narrow country lane winds across moorland at Mam Tor in the Derbyshire Peak District, with Edale and the Kinder Scout hills behind.
Every time I visit this place there is something different to look at even on grey, nondescript days. While the other side of Studland was packed on this chilly, windy day, Bramblebush was deserted, peaceful and beautiful.

Another case of extraordinary lighting. Even though the sky seemed to be 10/10ths cloud, a little hole appeared and this barn, one of the three usually photographed from the roadside at Bowlees was lit nicely.
